Taste - mellow, crisp, juicy citrus, faint tropical fruit, minimal salty finish. great with sushi and sashimi. lighter fare paired on purpose. tasty from the can. slight spice from carbonation, not from flavor. Hazy golden with a big, frothy, white head. Fair duration, though it fizzes a bit. Nice grassy Saaz hop aroma. Slightly spicy with some fine sweet maltiness. A touch of pepper. Low carbonation, lovely dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and some chewy malts. There is really a fine, spicy and grassy hoppiness. Long lingering bitterness with a slight sugary edge. Nice. Poured clear amber color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hopand yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Good drinkable brew.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Not a bad pils, but not a great one, either. The beer pours a bright and semi-cloudy golden color. The head is white, ample and sticky. The head leaves a great amount of lacing around the glass. The nose is full of sticky and floral hops, bread, yeast and grass. The body is extremely smooth, allowing this pils to be enjoyed multiple times throughout the evening (and possibly into the night....and morning). Flavors notes are of crisp, bright, dry and spicy hops, bread, grass, lemon zest and a sweet note of malt. The aftertaste contains a lot of bready and sweeter notes. glennmastrange (854), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Can. Light aromas of straw, herbs and cooked vegetables. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light yellow/amber. Flavor starts moderately acidicand finishes moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a lively to fizzy carbonation and a dry finish. Something about the finish in flavor and feel didn’t seem quite right to me.
