Dusty straw golden with a fluffy white lasting head. The nose is blasting hops away - all american nice floral and grassy / citric notes. To top the joppy notes there is some buttery sweetness. Nice and fresh. The taste is lovely hoppy aswell, sweet in the beginning followed with an agressive bitterness that bites your lipps in the end. Some citric and tropical fruit notes. The palate is a bit oily with the picking feeling caused by the hops. Nice american IPA - and not as fat as most of the IPAs ive had from over there. kseecs16 (887), Naperville, Illinois, USA

Very strong almost overpowering piney aroma of hops with some noticeable lemon. Light Golden with a thick fragrant white head. Not quite as rough as I was expecting but o so bitter. Carbonation is there but definitely not the most interesting thing going on. Very good for what it is. awiseman01 (351), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Bottle from Binnys. Pours hazy pale golden color with foamy white head. Nose is very inviting pine over citrus. Flavor is crisp, sharp, bitter citrus hops and a nice dry pine component. Very flavorful and strong hop taste. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Famous Liquors Lombard, IL Bomber $7.49 11/09. Great floral aroma, hints of lemon and oranges. Golden color, slightly hazy, good white frothy head. Light sweetness, traces of vegetables (expected fresh hoped), good amount of saltiness which accentuates the medium hop bitterness, the hop flavors are nicely layered. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, beer finishes good with a long bitter flavor, maybe to long for me. For the price I would buy this beer again. potbeercollege (358), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Bomber. Hazy off orange color with medium white head. Aroma is dominated by hops of strong grapefruit and grass. Flavor of grass and citrus fruit, fairly earthy, grapefruit really comes out in taste. Medium bitter finish, somewhat dry. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2009 16 oz draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Pours a highly hazed meon orange gold, thick, opaque, with a decent offwhite head that laces well, stays fairly big. Aromas are lemon forward, grapefruit and floral behind it, faint pine. Pretty hoppy overall, citrusy. Initial is lighter side of medium, very hoppy with lemon, then grapefruit, lemonheads, a bit sweet overall, but fairly fresh. Just a touc underbodoed, but for a harvest ale, a full display of hops, completely forgiven, as lemon, grapefruit, and flowers take precedence. Fairly acidic, sweet, lemon rind very prominent. Good, not the best Harvest, but not because of it’s dispaly of hops.. Moreso because all it displays is hops.. Nothing else and not much else of a balance. cstuartj (306), Washington, USA
