| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 10, 2009 Batch 3 bottle thanks to Zinister! Transparent red-copper with a fluffy beige head. Malty nose of brown sugar, raisin, cherry, and light alcohol. Creamy, nutty flavor of more fruit, brown sugar, and malt. An odd, dry bitterness in the finish, slightly off, coupled with hints of hop. This one defies classification, probably best described as a quaffable belgian strong ale. Not among RR’s best, but still quite enjoyable. JoeTheYounger (249), California, USA
