llbjr77 (70), Largo, Florida, USA Nov 30, 2008 Pours a dark amber/rub color with a white head. Definite aroma of malts, caramel, fruit and "sweet" and a little alcohol. Tastes nice with a little alcohol aftertaste. Definitely will drink again. blutt59 (952), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 27, 2008 bottle, dark brown color with some head, nose is very fruity and flavor is dark fruits and alcohol, hard to finish borgination (101), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Oct 9, 2008 Great stuff! Very smooth caramel maltiness. Has great balance and texture. Alcohol presence is not overwhelming. miketd (415), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Oct 2, 2008 96 vintage. pour is rusty brown with no head. Aroma...sugary sweet with cherries, caramel and some leather/ earthy thing going on. Flavor is very sweet, but has a decent finish that saves it a little. Not bad. AllAboutStout (595), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 28, 2008 Two year old bottle courtesy of BigErn. Pours a ruby brown in color with absolutely no head showing on the pour. Smell is highly malty and just a bit of boozey flavors. This is surprisingly good being well aged for a couple of years. This is surprisingly pretty good. Didn’t expect this. Thanks!
