Pours a very clear light brown body, with a big creamy white head that is very lasting. Dark grapey aroma, dusty, malty. Fruity taste, some sweet maltiness, a little nutty. Dark grape taste. Soft mouthfeel. Some hoppiness, but mostly a malty taste. Butters (573), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Nov 28, 2008 TN tasting at maniac’s. Pours almost a clear orange with big white head. Floral hop with a touch of grassy hop nose. flavor is better than their pale ale. Flavor has a little grapefruit hop as well. A little bitterness in the finish. Not bad. TURDFERGUSON (1182), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Nov 19, 2008 Bottle from Dave. Thanks! Pours orange with a small white head. Nose is dry and hoppy, rather juicy. Flavor has lots of citrus--orange and grapefruit, but little character or depth. Fresh but just okay. jrob21 (915), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 25, 2008 Bottle back from nashville. Decently tasty pale where the dry hopping is a hop lovers dream. Pours a cloudy orange with a decent white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit hops. Flavor is bitter hops, a lot of fruit including apple and grapefruit, and a bitter hop finish. More hopped up than your sraight up Pale with a little bit more malt profiie and body. kcdoom (4), merriam, Kansas, USA does not count Oct 23, 2008 Bottle. I thought there might be a little more hop flavor to this. Nice nose with a poor balnce of hoppiness. Goes down smooth but not much else to this.
