1010 Auckl-Indian Pale Ale
Another beer with DMS problems: sweet potato and carrot to go with some candy corn malt. Low carbonation, flabby body, goopy, sweet, syrupy AND brash... it’s sweet and sour and bitter. Poor shape no doubt, I don’t think the folks running the business care. I had a similar pale ale / IPA one-off side-by-side with this one, I recall the hops being different, but the second one smelled, tasted and felt no different.

1010 Donkey Kick Mescal Lager
Draft at the source. Pale yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of loral, fruity pepper. Taste is clean and crisp, the mescal balances the bitterness, but needs a bit more heat.

1010 Auckl-Indian Pale Ale
Draft at the source. Clear amber color, tan head. Aroma of floral pine. Taste is balanced, with a nice malt backbone. Spices come to the front as it warms. Decent.

1010 Auckl-Indian Pale Ale
Keg - Sale St. Poured with a thick, slowly disappearing one-finger lacy off-white head atop a clear ruddy amber coloured body. Zingy fresh and fruity hops with some leafy, grassiness, delicate grapefruit and a good malt structure propping up the mid-palate. Medium carbonation, light to medium body and a soft to medium intensity though enduring length to the finish. What you want from a 5% pale: full of flavour but rounded, adequately balanced and thoroughly sessionable.

1010 Pop! Brut Beer
Not sure what exactly they’re getting at with this one. It’s a champagne yeast beer I guess, but has an unappetizing hazy dull tan colour and yeasty character. It’s a bit fruity, bit yeasty...has potential I think but isn’t there yet. The "Belgian Ale" thing is meaningles, btw, I just had to put it somewhere.

Sale St Christmas Ale
Tap at Beervana. Pours a lovely chestnut brown with a small beige head. Full of dark fruits and spices on the nose - plum, raisins, cherry and fig. The epitome of a christmas cake in the taste. Plum, cherry and dates are huge with roasted malts. Fantastic beer

Sale St Celebration Pale Ale
Hazy bronze colour with small white head that disapated quickly, fruit citrus aroma. Citrus flavours with hint of smoke at back of mouth. Not a true pale ale, more of a pale lager.

Sale St Freemans Ale
Draught at the Sale St "Brewery". A bit more substance and body this, with some chocolate flavour attempting to poke through. Palatable.

Not too sure what type of crowd this is meant to stand out from? Found it grainy and insipid.
