Decent everyday beer. The ratings are fairly low due to that fact. This is a beer you can come home to. Not over hopped or too harsh just a rock solid beer. There should be a category for this type of brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lonerider Addieís Revenge
Malty aroma with a mix of citrus and piney hops. Taste is malty and hoppy but more malty sweet and not full balanced by the hops. A bit metallic finish almost. Not a bad beer, but lacks balance. Malty sweetness dominates. I like it, but not a great IPA. Too malty for a single IPA, has barley wine aspirations, and double IPA feel without enough hops to balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lonerider Peacemaker Pale Ale
Caramelized malty aroma with piney hops. Taste adds in a bit of a dirty unfiltered yeast taste. Slight sweet malt is the dominant taste but it is mostly balanced by the hops. Not bad and drinkable, but some off balance and a bit too malty to be a refreshing beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Slight metallic wheat aroma. Somewhat cloudy. Decent carbonation. Smoother bright taste with just a little ill wheat ale attributes. not bad overall. Could drink a few of these. Yes, good mannered hefe attitude on a backbone that lacks all those stupid added spices.

Can. Pours an orange body with a slight haze and a one finger fizzy white head. The nose is big and boozy with a heavy bourbon and wood quality. Still a hefty amount of sweet malt below and some candied fruits. The flavor is just as boozy with lots of bourbon, wood, and alcohol. Pretty heavy sweet fruity maltiness and a lighter yeast influence. Full bodied, sweet, and sticky with active fizzy carbonation. Not so sure that Tripels are the best candidates for bourbon barrel aging.

Can. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head. The nose is chocolaty, tossed, and lightly roasty maltiness with a slight leafy hoppiness. Some lighter notes of coffee and maybe a hint of burnt rubber. The flavor is OK, a little bit of that burnt rubber that I got in the aroma, but itís not horrible. More toasted and slightly nutty maltiness, fairly heavy sweetness, minimal hops, though thereís a light bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied and on the clingier side with soft carbonation.

Can. Pours a clear amber copper body with a one inch frothy beige head that had nice retention. The nose is a mix of caramel, crystal, and toasty malts with just a light piney hoppiness. The flavor is a little too sweet and heavy in the huskiness of the malt base. The hops are clearly in the background, which doesnít really play well for the style to me. Just a light piney hoppiness and a light bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied and a bit clingy and sticky with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, this one isníy my preferred style of IPA.

Iíve had this on tap at the brewery before; for the purposes of this review, itís from a 12 oz. can. This isnít a bad fairly easy-drinking IPA to have a few of on a hot summer day, but itís otherwise pretty unremarkable. Lonerider has a lot better offerings than this.

Pours a murky orange with little head that dissipated quickly leaving some lacing behind. Aroma is resin and citrus with a hint of caramel malt. Taste is pine, with some citrus and caramel malt and an almost medicinal flavor. Medium bodied with a slightly chewy finish. One of the several NC IPAs I have had over the last few days and most have been decent.

Can. Pours a hazy orange body with a small fizzy white head that faded very quickly. The nose is nicely fruity with some banana and light clove notes over a yeasty wheat malt base. The taste is a little weaker than the aroma comes across. Thereís a bit more caramel maltiness and sweetness than I would like, the pale wheat doesnít come through enough. The yeast isnít really driving the flavor, and I think thatís what makes a good Hefe. Medium bodied with a slight yeast slurry consistency. This oneís a little heavy and bland for me.

Can. Pours a clear light copper body with a nice fluffy white head that had excellent retention. The nose is very light citrusy hops with a slight caramel malt sweetness. The flavor is rather light on the hops, with a minimal bitterness. The malt is slightly sweet with a slight graininess and caramel sweetness. Light bodied and very easy drinking with soft carbonation. Comes across as a little too watery and thin. Meh, they need to seriously bump up the hops in this guy.

Can. Poured in glass there are chunky things floating around in an otherwise clear pale beer. Big giant hoppy ipa impact at first. Long bittering astringent feel on this one. I like the pistols on the label, makes for a nice atmosphere. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns, heheh. Yes, quite rude and terribly on style. Chalk another one up to the ubiquitous, every ipa tastes the same stye. Go figger, why do we need so many of this style if they all taste the same. Many ipa border on the thickness of double ipa, this one does not, its not quite as viscous. Does anybody remember when cheap pale lager was the ubiquitous beer? Does anybody care? Not any more.

Poured from a can picked up at total wine. Aromas of Citrus, Pine, and hops a plenty from the first crack of the can opening. Pours a light copper color, very clear with a half inch of head that leaves nice lace along the glass as sipped. Taste is very good and hop forward with a lot of Columbus and Amarillo flavors but finish is clean and dry without being over bitter. Nice malt backbone holds up to the big hop presence well on the palate. Overall, enjoyable and would have another soon.

New batch apparently, and the booze is more balanced this time. Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with thin ring of bubbly white head. Aroma of vanilla oaky barrel over mild Belgian esters, fruit, and grain. Taste follows, a subtle hint of orange under the bourbon, banana spice esters, biscuit malt booziness. I really like the balance here, mild esters, mild barrel, minimal booze, an enjoyable tripel.
