Cask conditioned, gravity dispensed at Harbury Beer Fest í10. Gold to amber with white head. Immediate butterscotch, caramel malt notes mixed with a cidery fruitiness. An unfortunate mix and clearly not at itís best really. Not entirely enjoyable.

A Sim rate (Manc Winter Ales Fest): Slightly roasty, nutty chocolate aroma, but not enough of it! Slight sweetness. Great opaque stouty color with a creamy head. Bitter flavor, with sweetness underneath. Chocolate. Nuts. Itís a stout really. But letís not get SilkTork started. Great flavor.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at National Winter Ale festival. Hazy dark gold with a thin white head and plenty of condition. Excellent fruity malt and good spicy hop aroma. Similar flavour but the hops come right upfront with plenty of citrus and a very pleasing dry bitter finish that has great length. Superb balance, itís pitched just right. Bloody good stuff and very well made. I love the Crown, looks like Iím going to love their beer too.
