Sambrooks Battersea IPA
Pours a slightly hazy orangey amber color, topped with a minimal and non-lasting white head, almost none actually. Mild fruity aroma at first, balanced by a resiny feel with quite some biscuity malty notes. Mildly fruity sweet, followed by a gentle bitterness. Medium body wit ha bit peppery finish. Nice one, easily enjoyable. Thanks Grumbo

On tap @ The Harp, London, UK. Pours with a dark red clear colour, medium long lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is medium malty, with some notes of roasted malt, and slightly hoppy. Medium sweet, slightly bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. I think this is not a porter: I donít know what it is, but it certainly isnít a porter.

Sambrooks Black IPA
Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours black as Coke with a nice looking creamy beige head. Lovely malty aroma, dark chocolate, roast and citrus. Taste is light sweet, not as much malty as supposed by the aroma, more dark delicious tropical fruits, good roasted malts, with pine and resiny hops as well. High carbonated, lingering roast and liquorice, more than nice.

Kolor żůłty, mętny. Piana biała, niska, drobnoziarnista, szybko się kurczy. W aromacie pustka. Kapka słodůw, trochę siana, słomy, dosłownie muśnięcie cytrusa i nic poza tym. W smaku słodowe z praktycznie zerowym udziałem chmielu. Trochę siana, chleba, zboża i herbatnikůw. Goryczka znikoma. Mega wysokie, prawie szampańskie wysycenie. Do tego wodnista tekstura. Smakuje jak przeciętny Lager, a nie Pale Ale. Porażka jakich mało...
