danlo	3.6 Opa Hay's 1914 Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear amber colour, light tan foamy head and aroma of malt, fruitcake, toffee. Taste is sweet, malty, fruitcake, toffee, caramel, bready, grainy, with some earthy nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable. minutemat	3.6 Opa Hay's 1914 Sample thanks to Grumbo, shared with Jeremy at his place. Pours a deep brown, large off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruitcake, some toffee. Continues to taste, with some leathery malt notes emerging, nicely flavoursome. Not bad at all. Thursday, April 11, 2024
BlackHaddock	3.7 Opa Hay's 1914 10th April 2024, mega tasting with minutemat, shared Panda from Grumbo. Red hue to the brown body, decent off-white head. Nice 'boozy' brew with malty front, even if he has used 12 different hop varieties. Liked it. Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Theydon_Bois	3.6 Opa Hay's 1914 Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 28/03/24. Mahogany brown with a good sized light beige cap that veers to the edge over time. Nose is stewed fruits, nutty, dark malts, herb, biscuit, grains. Taste comprises toffee, fruit cake mix, light spice, brown bread crusts, dates. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close Tidy well brewed Strong Ale. Thursday, March 28, 2024

Grumbo	3.8 Opa Hay's 1914 16/3/2024. Bottle from Bungay farmers market, shared with Darren. Pours cloudy copper brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty, bready, hoppy, dried fruit, fruit cake, caramel. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Very smooth, slight dry finish. Sweet warming boozy notes. Grumbo	3.5 Opa Hay's Biere Noire 10/11/2023. Cask at the 11th Beccles Autumn Beer Festival. Norfolk #550. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, malts, dark fruits, ashy edge. Fairly sweet with moderate roasted bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. Quite enjoyable. Taboada	1.9 Opa Hay's Liquid Bread Cask, third pint. @"CAMRA GBBF Winter Festival 2023", Burton-On-Trent (UK). 17/02/2023 [#5.881 Global - #655 England - #1 Opa Hays Brewery (My English brewery #217)] Pours murky golden with no head. Aroma: rye malts, grains and orange peel. Taste: spiced malts, yeast and mild honey. Very yeasty and sharp. Not a good example of the style. Next one please! Thursday, March 9, 2023
Rune	2.6 Opa Hay's Liquid Bread Gravicask, 1/3 pint, shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Dotted spots on the glass from a fair white head, a haze of wheat to a grey-golden body. Moderate, doughy fruit on the nose, sweet. Ripe banana sweetness to the taste buds, spiced with clove, and wheat beneath. Banana-wheat sweetness to the ending. Accepted.
