The aroma is roasted malt, light ashtray. The flavour is moderate to light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, somewhat watery, ashtray, light liquorice bitter palate. biilz	2.9 Burton Bridge Draught Burton Ale Аромат травянистый, немного континентального хмеля. Цвет темно желтый, пенки почти нету. Вкус горький, очень схожий на биттер, я бы даже сказал что пиво именно в этом стиле. Сухой, горький, очень травянистый. На финише прямо очень большая горечь продолжительная. gazmod	3 Burton Bridge Top Dog A cracking drink ruined by the bar staff. Oh so promising with a nice malty taste and aroma with a slight coffee note. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. A good session ale but all ruined because of the style of the serving method. As flat as Holland. Sadly what should have been marked higher is getting a lower mark purely for the service. Martinsh	3.8 Burton Bridge Old Expensive Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a dark burgundy with a small off-white head and good lacing. There are complex aroma of dark fruits, cake and toffee, all diffused with alcohol. In the mouth there is briefly some sweetness before alcoholic strength overrides it, with dark fruits and spices. Traces of malts and leather too, but on the whole a little watery. Finish is spicy and boozy. This is rather nice – and not expensive either ! (Only £2.29 a pint). Thursday, December 29, 2022

Inviting smell of earthy malts, hints of chocolate. Blended taste of liquorice, dark berries and chocolate malts. Mid-sweet dark malty end. Fine depth to it. Pretty good. Rune	3.2 Burton Bridge XL Bitter Cask at Roebuck Inn (JDW). Shared with Finn. Clingy lacing from a low beige head, clear dark amber body. Inviting aromas of leafy hops and caramel malts. edward78	3.8 Burton Bridge Stairway to Heaven Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a hazy amber colour with a huge foamy white head. Light aromas of floral, citrus lemon and vinegar. Taste has notes of melon and pineapple, fruit salad, some more floral, a touch more citrus and some peppery spice. Tangy fruity notes, some more citrus and earthy hops lingering on the finish. Thin to medium body, light carbonation and fairly smooth mouthfeel. The beers i have sampled from this Brewery all have this original and unique flavour to them. I like them all. Good stuff. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, brown bread and flowers. Quite a unique musky aroma. Taste has more dry dark fruits (figs, raisins, prunes), more caramel, more flowery notes and a lot of peppery spice. Thin body, low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Could do with more body but has big dark fruity and caramel flavours with lots of warm spices and alcohol on the finish. Very good unique beer I like it. Saturday, September 24, 2022

Aroma is very unusual and fruity with stoney fruits, some melon and notes of candy. Taste is again very fruity with more stoney fruits, apricots and peaches, more melon, some floral, tangerines, marmalade, tea and peppery spice. Slight orange pith on a hoppy finish. Full body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Very good unique tasting beer which got better and better with each sip. Monday, September 19, 2022
