3.2 Akita Homare (Pride of Akita) Sake Pale yellow body. Aroma had a good cucumber presence, rice, alcohol and a subtle sweetness. Flavor had good balance more sweeter than the aroma indicated. Some heat from the alcohol, but otherwise it was well hidden. Saturday, February 16, 2013

3.5 Akita Homare Junmai Ginjo Sake Glass poured at Japanese Pavilion @ Epcot. Clear pour with just a hint of yellow. Strong koji aroma with a light fruitiness. Clean smooth rice graininess, more fruit notes popping through in the taste. Alcohol pops through in the aftertaste. Nice refreshing sake, but pricey. Monday, January 9, 2012
