Jow	3.5 Akita Homare (Pride of Akita) Sake Bottle at the excellent Sushi of Gari. Pours of yellow tinged water. Nose is light vanilla and almond. Tastes of subtle almonds, light pine, vanilla, and melon. Rice is present on finish and alcohol also faint. Saturday, March 22, 2014
crazyvin	3.2 Akita Homare (Pride of Akita) Sake Pale yellow body. Aroma had a good cucumber presence, rice, alcohol and a subtle sweetness. Flavor had good balance more sweeter than the aroma indicated. Some heat from the alcohol, but otherwise it was well hidden. Saturday, February 16, 2013
dchmela	3.5 Akita Homare Junmai Ginjo Sake Glass poured at Japanese Pavilion @ Epcot. Clear pour with just a hint of yellow. Strong koji aroma with a light fruitiness. Clean smooth rice graininess, more fruit notes popping through in the taste. Alcohol pops through in the aftertaste. Nice refreshing sake, but pricey. Monday, January 9, 2012
Beershine	3.5 Akita Homare Junmai Ginjo Sake At Hiro’s Yakko-San. There is a slight yellow tint to the crystal clear sake. Nice bright koji aroma is fresh and inviting. Nice pineapple notes throughout nose and body. Dry finish adds an earthiness. Clean, good flavors, very good. Friday, February 20, 2009
