(Keg at Zlý Časy, 20160614) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and butter. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, sweetness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A brew with pretty good taste but very mild aroma.

Bottled at Czeska Baszta, Warsaw. Almost clear golden, small head. Mildly buttery hay aroma. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grassy with mild, yet rich and seemless flavours from hay. Notes of butter. Mid bitter finish. Rustic, yet elegant. Complex, yet straightforward and refreshing.

Lane w knajpie w Hradcu Kralove. Kolor złotawy, mętne. Piana minimalna. Aromatu nie przypominam sobie. W smaku nie podzielam wysokich ocen - piwo nijakie, podobne do niczego, goryczki brak. Aktualizacja z marca: piwo w wersji butelkowej było znacznie lepsze - delikatny smak czeskiego pilsnera z lekką goryczką, dość spora piana.

Draft at Trójkąt in Krakow, called Svetly Nefiltrovane. Lightly hazed gold with a lasting white head. Airy and minerally aroma showing lemon and spice quality of Saaz hops; malt is toasty, bready, seemingly authentic; minor off-notes of detergent and autolyzed yeast. Surprisingly close to medium bodied, soft and creamy and fluffy in the mouth, the malt playing as baked bread, toasted bagel, sourdough, though strangely turns more to something like sachharine in the finish. Ups and downs.

Nice bready aroma, some dry nettly spicy hops, some hint of sourness. Nice hazy straw, tight white head. 6 days past its BB, and it’s just tasting a tiny bit sour, but it’s still good. So bready with the fresh grains. Fresh herbal dry hopping, so much a live beer, quite tasty. Palate nicely soft and smooth, unfiltered and unpasteurised rocks! Shame about the sourness, but it’s holding up very well considering.

Classic golden, cloudy body. Head is minimal, disappears less in a minute. It has delicate malty and bready aroma with some butterscotch scents. Tastes like it smells, mostly malty and bready base. Some earthy and and grassy flavors noticeable. Smooth bitterness present at the finish. Nice and solid Czech Pilsner.

1l bottle. Aroma dominated by Saaz hoppiness, with notes of basement, malt, straw and hay. Balanced, strong malty-hoppy taste with a decidedly hoppy finish, strong herbal bitterness and hoppy fade-off. My goodness, what a terrific pils! When I happen to come across such uncomplicated yet utmost compelling beers I immediately forget all about Citra, barrel ageing and fancy ingredients. True beauty lies in simplicity.
