11.2 oz. bottle. Pour is deep gold and hazy with a considerable white head. Some sediment at the bottom of the bottle, which for the most part, did not make it into my glass. Aroma is citrus, spice, and light-malt, almost wheat-like. Taste is orange peel, spice, bread, wheat, and mild lime with some floral elements. Finishes dry and mildly bitter. Light-bodied. Moderate to high carbonation. Not bad.

11.2oz bottle - pours a watery midnight black and a thin brown head. A yummy aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and charcoal. A thin mouthful delivers dry roasty barley, mocha and and a short taste of char.

Had a bottle, pours black brownish, light nose of burnt cocoa. Pretty bland in mouth, mild cocoa and coffee. Not sweet. No personality, no one needs to drink this...

Pours a hazy yellowish orange color with thick chunks of sediment floating all around the beer. There is a nice sized off white head that left plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma is hoppy, some pine, and spices. The taste is quite hoppy and piney up front more so than I would expect from a blonde ale but has a nice malty bread characteristic to help round it off.

Bottle @ Home. Muddy amber colored beer with minimal carbonation and head formation. Super herbal and lemony. A lot of citrus zest. Some bread, lemon tea, and grass. Kind of a fresh thyme and rosemary flavor, too. Bitter herbs and wood. Tangy citrus and a little bit of tea. A whole lot of sweet caramel and toasted grains, too. Messy.

Pours a very dark chestnut brown color that appears black in the glass with a two finger mocha head that slowly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Decent retention with spotty lacing left behind. Much darker than expected, especially the frothy dark beige head. Impressive looking. Slightly smokey dark malt aroma with a nice balance of roast and sweeter notes. Robust with burnt sugar, oatmeal, toast and espresso bean followed by sweeter, dessert-like coco, ate malt. Subtle earthy hop presence as well. Medium body with a slight creamy texture but also a bit watery if that makes an sense. Mouthfeel kind of reminds me of nitro. Some dry, roasted bitterness up front but not acrid or unpleasant. Burnt dark malts with hints of bittersweet dark chocolate, oatmeal and coffee bean followed by subtle resinous hops, lactic cream and lighter malt notes, notably lighter chocolate and caramel sweetness. The mouthfeel is a bit off but this beer is well balanced with some nice flavors complimenting each other. This style can be boring but this was pretty complex. I hated the pale ale but this is a good beer from this newish brewery that has me interested in trying more of their offerings.

Malka Admonit (Pale Ale)
Pours a cloudy, dark golden orange color with dark apricot colored edges and a thin off-white head that immediately disappears. Not very pale. Almost brown really with minimal spots of lace. Slightly earthy, floral hop aroma with somewhat stale grassy, saaz-like hops and a strong malt backbone. Subtle pine needle and spruce tip character along with leathery and sweet malt notes. Some caramel, toffee and dark fruit notes, notably fig and plum. Smells more like a bland hoppy barleywine at this point. On the lighter end of medium body with a dry, resinous hop character up front that provides sticky bitterness that lingers over the strong malt backbone into the finish. Slightly spicy and earthy with dirty/soily hops, grass and spruce tip followed by leathery malt, toffee and caramel sweetness. Hop flavor is a bit stale and the flavor and mouthfeel sort just fall off mid-palate. Watery and bland in the finish and doesn’t really resemble a pale ale at all in my opinion. Disappointing first beer from Israel and this brewery. Hopefully the blonde and dry stout are better.

Bottle from Argonaut (CO). Thanks to Brokensail for pointing out the Israel tick. Poured to lagunitas jar glass. Nose is moderate in cocoa but shows some fudge and maybe some molasses. Faint coffee. Black pour with minimal head. Taste is a showcase of chocolate covered coffee beans with a light vanilla note and a dry coffee finish. Clean, quenching palate with just enough silky mouthfeel to balance it out. A light warming in the wars after a few sips shows some alcohol, but isn’t hot. Overall very good. I would drink again but would like it toned down in the abv. Tends to get a little peppery as it warms from the alcohol.

Bottle at some goofy ass place. Looks like I’m drinking in a fucking war zone. No paint on the walls, no floors. Wtf. Pours brown, little head. Doesn’t look much like a pale. Cloudy. Looks like a brown ale. Aroma is burnt caramel, toast, grain, faint pine. Taste is grainy, corn, slight apple cider, metallic. Bad. Light, thin mouthfeel. Fucked.

Dark, opaquey brown with a thin viscous film and crusty ran ring. Nose is soft choc, spicy and instant coffee. Lean choc, lean malt and soft enough. Nothing biting here apart from a green coffee buzz. Very soft carbonation, but painfully thin mouthfeel. Neat and tea like towards the finish with some brassy bitterness. Linger isn’t lean, nice and dusty choc - but the flavour boat had already sailed here.

Bottle [from Euro Swap 2015-2 thanks to Tomer] @ home. Clear reddish color, medium to full sized rough white to off-white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, herbal hops. Taste malts, a little metallic, again lightly herbal hops, lightly bitter. Average body, soft carbonation. Drinkable, but there is a weird sort of plant - vegetable - metallic - ish aroma and flavor in there that I really dislike.

33cl bottle, many thanks to DSG. Smooth fresh nose of roasted barley. Hints of woody sourness. Nice sourish beginning, rich and round with dry smooth roasted barley. Very dry, nice sourness in the body. Fresh, smooth, malty smooth, easy to drink but still thick. Great malty-dry sourish aftertaste with a bit of bitterness. Great.
