Cool Springs Early Riser Espresso Stout 3.7
650 ml. that says donít age, but has no indicator of bottling date or bb date. Also says 8.2% instead of 6.2% indicated here. I was told at the checkout with this one that the brewery doesnít bottle anymore, so donít know how old this one might be. Pour is ebony with a frothy, boiling head that would have been a slow gusher from the bottle without constant attention. Strong nose of espresso with cream and semi-sweet chocolate. Flavor is the same mix with some ash, berry and charred toast. Medium body has way too much fizz but a tasty balance.

Murky bronze, with a ring of foam. Huge white wine aroma, with some some rustic, grassy notes. Taste is a little vinegary, in a good way. Also, s good deal of woody flavors, too. Kind of like a sour white wine, but in a good way, if that makes sense. Bottle 437 of 883.

Cool Springs Cloud 9 2.6
Bomber #128/582. Poured murky, deeper brown with not much head sticking around. The aroma picked up lots of fairly strong bourbon, coconut, and vanilla notes over toasted caramel and lesser biscuity malts.. quite boozy. The flavor found tart oak and bourbon barrel on the tip of the tongue, with a bit of fruity sourness joining.. caramel, nutty notes, and vanilla on the middle, but sourness really took over.. still sour toward the back, with some peppery alcohol warming up the throat. Heavier-bodied on the palate with low-ish carbonation.. too sour, and it seemed off.

Bomber. Poured near black with a short-lived tan head. The aroma picked up sweet coffee and nutty notes with a bit of roasty cocoa.. fairly simple, but solid. The flavor found similar, and was very espresso-focused.. a bit tart toward the back.. nice balance. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate.. good feel.. solid stuff.

A copper color with a white head. The aroma contains mangos as you expect and a bit of pine and herbal notes. The flavor is quite bitter with those mangos being up front but also some oranges and lemons and a hint of caramel.. This is a different take on an IPA but well executed. Overall nice one.
