Pinball	3.3 Bryghuset No5 Rød Femmer Very nice and clean us red alw ish aroma. High on nutty malts as well as bitter ud hops. Reminds me of barley qine. Good stuff Flavor is nutty, honey, malty bitterness, the yell8w fruity bitterness sometimes found in tripie,hay, A bit unbalanced co.pared to aroma, basically the flavor is just a somewhat messy, brutal strong ale. Label in No5's usual shining star in light beige and maroon. Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sugary fumes and a light grainy sourness. Dark sweet malts, brown sugar, cocoa and chocolate. Metallic alcohol peeking in. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness bordering on being sugary. Followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a light boozy burn. Nice fit between sweet chocolate and slightly boozy Bock. Saturday, October 16, 2021
