tchaos	3.4 Black Bear Winery Black Mead 750ml bottle from wegman’s. Pours an inky purple-red...excellent color. Aroma is fruit-forward with tartness and mild honey present on the nose. Taste is unabashedly currant forward...almost like Ribena. Deep, tart fruit with little alcohol and faint honey. Light mouthfeel. Oddly satisfying...an incredible mixer -- think ginger beer -- but not hugely mead-like...gets points based on taste and appearance for sure. Sunday, November 15, 2015
