Notes of sour dark fruits, namely cherries but also plums, along with dark malts, spices, earth, wood, and some alcohol warmth. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a tangy, rich mouthfeel. AcidHouseCC	4.1 Bayou Teche Cocodrie Brewed just down the road from me in the town of Arnaudville, Louisiana. Bayou Teche Brewing is 2-0 for me after having this wonderful Belgian style IPA made with an apparent south Louisiana twist. Ragin' Cajuns Ale was the first one I had. While it was a solid brew, Cocodrie is by far the superior of the two. Yeah, this is definitely "dangerously drinkable". This one rivals many of the best-selling Belgian IPAs in terms of the balance between the yeast & the citrus flavors. Spicy undertones help add to the complexity of this beer. The bitter aftertaste is definitely there, but it’s so slight and modest that it becomes another pro of this IPA. This is an absolutely fantastic beer that I’ll most certainly be reaching for again before this year ends. Saturday, November 30, 2019

Jabah	2.9 Bayou Teche Acadie Bière de Garde This was brought out camping, to a music festival by a friend of a friend from New Orleans. Brewed at Lazy Magnolia Brewing in Mississippi though. The smell is not that great...like wet dog, but not too skunky. Average light brown-gold appearance. Flavor makes up for it. Malty caramel, some bread and sugar going on. Has potential if some of the other characteristics were better, but all in all it's about an average brew. Friday, March 15, 2019
seymour	4 Bayou Teche Swamp Thing Brown longneck bottle poured into a pub glass, a mostly-clear orange amber with sudsy off-white foam, lasting with lace. Fairly typical American IPA, but an above average one. Malty, caramelly, focus on new world hops: grapefruity, musky, melon and berries, pine resin, tropical fruit salad, lemongrass, black pepper. Light-medium body, fairly high carbonation splashes the bittersweet layers all around. Pleasant, lingering aftertaste. Good stuff. Sunday, February 3, 2019
