The Kernel India Pale Ale Mosaic Summit Citra 3.9
330ml bottle at home as ’The Kernel India Pale Ale Mosaic Summit Citra’, 6.8% bottled 12/01/16. Dark orange, hazy, lightly sparkling, big foamy white head leaves full lacing. Aroma is muted caramel, nips of straw, pine and wood chip. Body is rounded, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is straw, woody, soft pine and mint, perfume linger with some alcohol on the breath. A very drinkable IPA. By Kernel standards this is slightly disappointing but - bigger picture - this is a very solid beer.

The Kernel Pale Ale Simcoe Centennial 3.4
500 ml bottle to taster (shared with the Mrs; thanks Colin). Looks solid; a murky dark pineapple with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of juicy and bitter hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone alongside a bit of caramel. Tastes like it smells with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. A solid (English - ) American Pale Ale.

The Kernel India Pale Ale Nelson Sauvin Victoria Secret 4
30th January 2016
Bottle and also a half in the Bull. Pretty hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a good fine crispness. Thin but sweetish malts, trace of cream. Hops bring a sweet and spicy floralness. Touch of peachy tropical fruits and hop spice. Modest skunk. A little juicy citrus and sweet candy fruits before a semi dry hop spicy finish. The bottle is more complex than the keg (3.8). Nice one!

The Kernel India Pale Ale Mosaic Summit Citra 3.8
Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Second beer brewed on the new kit was what someone told me at the brewery and it might be more bitter than some previous Kernel beers. Having had half a dozen disappointing Kernels recently I was interested to see how this one would fair. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Good grapefruit aroma. Yes, this one has the fruit back again and lost the caramel toffee flavour. I mean still some malt sweetness to give the ABV but it’s not as obvious. Not overly bitter on the finish just some more good bitter grapefruit flavour. I liked it.

The Kernel India Pale Ale Black 4.2
In bottiglia, a casa.

The Kernel Imperial Brown Stout London 1856 4.2
Alkohol: 10,2% obj.
Do samego końca centymetrowa warstwa przykrywa piwo i towarzyszy mi w degustacji.
Smak: W smaku sporo słodyczy w postaci czekolady, karmelu, toffi.
Wysycenie: Niskie.
Podsumowanie:
Moje kolejne piwo z Browaru The Kernel.

The Kernel Imperial Brown Stout London 1856 4.4
Pours black with a caramel colored foam. This tastes superb. Perfectly balanced with a nice kick. The texture is smooth and foamy, an excellent mouth feel with a good body. The best I have seen in a stout. Again the sharpness of the beer stop it becoming too malty or tasting like burnt. Its crisp, sharp, with an excellent finish.
