Schlenkerla29	3.2 Schiessl Zoigl Etwas dunkler als Bernstein stellt sich der feintrübe Schießl Zoigl im Glas dar. Der wolkige, leicht angebräunte Schaum ist zwar hübsch anzuschauen, eine hohe Lebenserwartung hat er jedoch nicht. Lediglich schwache karamellmalzige und orangenfruchtig-herbe Anklänge werden von der Nase wahrgenommen. Nahezu deckungsgleiches Bild im feinspritzigen Antrunk. Das karamellige Toastmalz wirkt zwar dominierend, aber der Hopfen meldet sich recht frühzeitig vergleichsweise deutlich zu Wort. Durchgängig schwingt eine durchaus angenehme Fruchtigkeit mit, was dem Trinkerlebnis nur förderlich ist. Mit etwas rauem und unwirschen Hopfen endet dieser vollmundige Zoigl aus der Flasche, eine schöne Süffigkeit ist dennoch vorhanden. Gar nicht mal verkehrt. Wednesday, April 19, 2023

Schlenkerla29	2.5 Schiessl Standard-Hell Es gibt cremigen Schaum satt, welcher das hellgoldene Standard Hell appetitanregend bedeckt. Einem zarten Hauch von Malz in der Nase folgt der recht schlanke, feinmalzige Antrunk. Ein wirklich geschmackliches Volumen baut sich nicht auf. Für ein Helles ist es ungewöhnlich und über Gebühr spritzig. Eine feine Hopfennote im Abgang lässt sich nur mit etwas Phantasie erahnen. Und so stellt sich das Schiessl Standard Hell anhand seines Namens selbst ein Urteil aus. Es ist in der Tat lediglich ein Standard-Helles, welches leider nicht ohne Hopfenextrakt auskommt. Spora robi wrazenie, nie spodziewalem sie takiej piany, nawet powoli robilem sie niecierpliwy bo sie nie dalo lyka wziasc. Barwa bursztynowa, miedziana, tylko lekko zmetniona. fantti	3.4 Schiessl Zoigl Pours coppery and hazy, head is very large and vanishes quite quick. Aroma has rye-like graininess, grass and little flower-like aromas. There is indeed a lot of graininess in this beer. Taste is also very rye-like and grainy, there is also a lot of dried fruits. Palate is medium, you can almost chew the grains. 3fourths	2.9 Schiessl Silber-Pils (Hopfen) draft at Schiessl in Amberg, labeled Hopfen. sparkling clear pale gold body with a lasting foamy white head. clean nose but rough mouthfeel with harsh carbonation and malt, coming across like a vitamin / chalk-laden mineral water. pale and flavorless for the most part, and the hallertauer hops are nowhere to be seen, they’re covered. mild sweet cracker and toasted grain late with light grassy pungency from the hops, that’s about it. and a lingering residue of semi-sweet apple juice kills it. Palate was less than medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter.
