Cluysenaer Cuvée Noire 3.5
Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Dark brown amber (? Shouldn’t this be like black?), tanned head. Nose is thick sweetish licorice, herbal, some leaves. Taste is massive herbal licorice, tad powdery, oily, low malts, leaves. Oily thick herbal; Way too much licorice, this is basically just pure licorice, nothing bad with this one but I am not into licorice this much.

Poezewoefke Bruin 2.2
19/IV/16 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 16/IV/18 (2016-370) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear amber to red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of overripe to rotten fruits, yeast, bit sweet, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, spicy, green banana, rotten fruits, plums, caramel. Aftertaste: bitter, unpleasant spiciness, dirty and weird. Something is definitely off here. Wonder if it’s something that happened in the brewery, or somewhere later on the bottle’s journey. Probably one of the worst beers I’ve had from De Proef ever...

De Proefbrouwerij Angelo Pure 2.2
Pours muddy amber. Small white head. Smell is intense, sharp, bit bitter, madeira. Taste is sweet, thick , booze, clinical alcohol-taste. Sweet underneath, It’s drinkable, but the clinical booze is nowhere near nice, and I am wondering why they forced themselves to get it in... it’s more har, and more expensive, and way less good now...

Lousberg 3.7
Robe blonde, mousse peu persistante.

Manch kalter Tee schmeckt besser.

Gandavum Dry Hopping 3.9
05/04/2016 - draught @ Waterhuid ad Bierhkant, Ghent. Hazy yellow, nice creamy white head. Nose is lots of sweet exotic fruits. Taste is lots of fruits, some bitterness, some sweetness. Just don’t get the dryhopping. Anyhow, a nice easy drinking refreshment.

Reinaert Tripel 3.6
33cl best by dec 2017 - nose is funky hay. It has just dawned on me that I have the worst time describing tripels. Sadly this is metallic and watery in the finish. Not very fruity.

Shiimake 3.1
33cl bottle at home (1 IV 2016), shared with a friend. Dark brown ale with dense yet swiftly diminishing collar. The nose has loads and loads of yeasts. The flavours do even think of a massively Belgian yeasted, traditional double. The taste is full of malts, bitterness and yeasts, or are those the shiitake mushroom flavours? Nothing special for sure. Medium bodied, medium sweet, hints of Belgian ales... making this a rather decent yet mediocre brew.
