Floral hoppy and caramel malty aroma, hints of petals. Taste is dry, moderately bitter, floral hoppy, caramel malty basis without residual sweetness, hints of petals; lingering, bitter and floral hoppy finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, fine, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, clean, simple, decent bitterness - good. Idiosynkrasie	3.1 Frenzel's Osterreiter Festbock 330ml bottle [thanks Gunnar!]. Minimally milky, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, light sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty aroma, a touch of honey. Taste is minimally starchy, pale malty, slightly bitter hoppy, subtle residual sweetness, a diluted touch of honey; lingering, bitter and minimally leafy, hoppy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Relatively light, clean, not too sweet, nice hoppy counterpart - decent. hauxe	3.4 Frenzel's Pale Ale Slightly murky amber with a frothy, white head that lingers. Aroma full of caramel and herbal tea, but also noticeably vinous. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then mildly tart at the back, slightly metallic, with more vinous notes rounding out the uneven finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad. Hazy, dark yellow to orange, golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Grainy malty and fruity aroma, hints of apple, pear, orchard fruit, oat flakes, a touch of protein, minimally waxy overtones, slight muesli character overall. Taste is sweet-ish, grainy malty, fruity and slightly grassy, minimally bitter hoppy, hints of apple, pear, berries, a touch of oat flakes, some protein, muesli character again; lingering, grassy hoppy finish with minimally metallic overtones.
