3.4 Scheucher Met Aus Lindenblütenhonig Courtesy of Marko Cloudy blond color. The aroma is deep, clearly lindenhonig, with the typical lemony impression. Sweet, with quite strong linden character, light lemony touch, and some bread (this because the bottle has been open for some time); very light soapy impression; decent level of acidity; quite fruity. Easy but nice. Monday, May 26, 2014

2.9 Scheucher Met Aus Lindenblütenhonig 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, great thanks for sharing! It poured pale yellow body with some slight carbonation and no legs. Fine honey and lemony aroma, lime flowers actually felt. Flavor was a bit letdown, although quite similar. Too acidic, but watery, not some too quality honey in it. Slightly oily on palate, but thin for a mead. Shorter, more sour than sweet finish with warming effect. Strange indeed, didn’t quite like it. Tuesday, August 31, 2010

3.3 Scheucher Met Aus Lindenblütenhonig Bottle from a stall near the InterSpar in the City Center West, Graz. I’m still the only one capable of finding Austrian mead I guess... :D. Anyway, a pleasant sight indeed. Poured a yellow-gold body with no head, as expected. The nose is odd, guess from the lime tree flowers. Actually reminded me of redcurrant for some reason. Some typical honeyish notes in there too, oily. The taste is again more of the same, only more waxy, slightly dry and acidic. Some mint too? Oregano? Light alcohol too. Certainly different, very different, and a sipper, pleasant in a strange way but not too much at the same time. Glad to have found it! Wednesday, August 25, 2010
