Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long to average duration, spicy honey, pure honey, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. fiulijn	3.3 Outeda Hidromiel Dulce Corked demi bottle, from my friend Sonia Measured Final Gravity: 1023 Golden color, with nice legs. Aroma of bush honey and forest honey, highly oxidized, with an impression of cork and wood; southern liquor; perfum and flowers, talc. The mouthfeel is medium-sweet but not syrupy; there is a strong honey flavor (stronger pure honey flavor than in most Meads I ever tried); there is a light herbal trace and quite evident alcohol too; moderate bitterness as well (this should be avoided normally). It seems that they don’t master the fermentation well yet; not bad, but surely a bit weird. Thursday, September 1, 2011
