Medium body, warming and a bit sticky, with flavors of honey, flowers and some herbal touch. Lightly sourish. fiulijn	3.7 Imkerei Dinkel Honig Sauerkirschwein Corked bottle from the Imkerei Dark ruby color. The aroma of the Morello cherries is very pleasant. Semi sweet mouthfeel, a bit sweeter than their regular Met; the Morello cherry flavor is prominent, bringing some sourness and an expected final astringency; beneath the cherry some honey can be detected; it carries waves of grape wine and of fruits, berries. The alcohol is perceived, but its warmth is pleasant. Very fine example of what is almost a style in Germany. Monday, June 6, 2011

The mouthfeel is lean; it’s a semi-sweet Mead, with some vulgar honey flavor, and a light lemony acidity; in the late final there is some light astringency; the alcohol perception is not very high but still it’s noticeable. Beershine	3.6 Imkerei Dinkel Met Honigwein Light copper, glassy, fairly viscous with moderate legs. Aroma is almonds and and the moist crusts of honeycake. Feels nice in the mouth and is medium-bodied. Flavors are resinous and pleasantly medicinal, like a Swiss lemon-honey cough drop. Ends with welcome smack of crisp apple tartness but the sugars linger on the tongue. Quite interesting, and gets better by the sip as the tongue adapts to the sugars. Tuesday, December 7, 2010
Oakes	4 Imkerei Dinkel Met Honigwein Purchased at the Bamberger Gruener Markt. Nice golden colour and a viscous-looking body. The aroma is very floral, fruity with lots of toasted sugars and almost a perfumey note. Tastes spicy, with fruity-tart character underneath. Vibrant body is perfumey, floral, with both heavy slightly caramelized sugars and a hint of acidity underneath. I like this one - it’s good fun. Monday, December 6, 2010
