Bottle - pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is grainy malt, bit milleresque. Taste is sweet grainy malt. Avg lager.

330ml bottle into schooner. Brewed in New Zealand. 4.6% Nose is grain bread and pepper. Clear amber beer with fluffy white head. Medium carbonation. Grainy taste, abrupt slightly sour finish. Not bad for a low carb beer.

Gee wiz! Nothing like the sweet taste of a juicy lager such as this after a hard days yakka digging post holes out in papamoa.. Strewth! Carters premium lager. best beer by a lazy inch, for the price.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head. Aroma is grassy, grainy, vegetably, buttery and a bit skunky. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, following is bland vegetably and a bit papery with dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Nice bottle label, but that’s pretty much about it...

Pharkme it’s only 30 bucks a carton . Poxy 330ml bottles and 4% alcohol but is very drinkable . Nice flavour indeed unlike some of the discount Dutch beers which have a quite noticeable foul taste . Comes from New Zealand . nice clean water there ibet .

Furiously carbonated, but surprisingly short-lived in the heading department. A sleek, sudsy white pad remains but lace it doesn’t. Thin, translucent medium gold that is to its credit quite radiant. Sweet, tangy, damp pot pourri nose, floral and zesty and closely reminiscent to nail varnish remover. Sweetness is controlled in the mouth and similar to the aroma seems floral like rose water. Cardboard-like mid-palate, soft straw notes, little to no hops aside a light dried mown grass linger after the swallow. Watery thin but heavy in the stomach, soapy as it warms. Dulls out quickly, or I just grew bored quickly. Meh! (33cL, 4.6% ABV, BBE 11/12, Greenfield’s Liquor Store)

330mL bottle Golden body, short lived head. Not really much to it; grainy malts, obvious diacetyl. Soapy on the palate, dry and lean. Really not much to speak of overall. Try and save my words for something better...

330mL bottle...a twist top infact Deep golden body, head doesn’t hang around. Suprising aroma, as in there is something! Cereal malts, good hit of butterscotchy diacetyl, some floral perfumey hops(!). Medium-to-light body, dries out quite quickly - guessing there’s a fair bit of adjunct. Carbonation is fizzy. Not much on the body, a bit of diacetyl keeps interest. Finishes with mild bitterness, actually somewhat sweet, a suggestion of the that floral hop. Not what I was expecting, has a bit more to offer than other beers at this price point. Having said that, the edge of diacetyl stands out like dogs bollocks, big fault by the brewers there!

330ml bottle. Did not expect much and that is what I got. Strong grain aroma is the first thing that hits you, a bit skunky. Amber colour with a scuzzy dishwater head and fuller flavoured than some pale lagers but not by much.

330ml bottle. Pale in the pour but darkens to an amber gold in the glass. Neat snow white head that disperses. Strong grain aroma that reminds me of the massed produced lagers I drank before discovering craft beer. Thin and watery in the mouth with little taste and not much left on the palate.

Bland and watery. Where does this ’premium’ tag come from. Corny and cheap to the taste. A bad kiwi beer.

All round bland watery mess of a beer. Not sure what is going in with it. Avoid.
