tderoeck	2.6 Hopjutters Cerasus 9/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle from ... somewhere, shared @ mussel dinner (home) - BB: II/2018, LOT 14494 (2017-1194) Clear dark purple red beer, big fluffy pink creamy head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of chlorine, weird, rubbery and plastic smell, some tannins maybe, bit of almonds. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sweet and fruity start, some cherries, cherry flavoured candy, soft bitterness, some tannins, little sourish. Aftertaste: very bitter in the finish, fruity notes, quite some tannins. corkyrory66	2.1 Hopjutters Triple Hop Blonde houblonnée qui n’est pas du tout une ipa, malgré 3 houblons en dry hop ... Niveau abv de 7,3 %, brassée chez de Graal. Mon exemplaire avait 9 mois de plus que sa date. Couleur doré soutenu brillant, à la clarté nette. Bulles moyennes peu nombreuses, peu vives. Mousse qui devient un nappage de surface à flocons moyens, très banal. Arômes de malt, houblon curieux, girofle, câpres, vinaigre de vin. 1ère bouche souple à l’entame très basique. Arrière-bouche très légère, assez aqueuse. 2ème aux saveurs faibles, sans complexité. Arrière-bouche très courte. 3ème avec un houblon un peu mieux défini, mais sans ligne directrice. Arrière-bouche d’une blonde à Papi. Longueur qui n’arrange rien, mais brouille encore un peu plus les cartes. Jambes courtes. Levure un rien fruitée, ligne correcte. Alcool qui n’aide en rien aux saveurs. Finale qui passe inaperçue. CONCLUSION : preuve qu’un brasseur ne peut pas faire que de belles choses … En plus, le référencement en tant que "ipa" est complètement erroné.... Une blonde belge à grand-papa ... Christos	3.6 Hopjutters Triple Hop (Hopjutters Triple Hop) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a big tulip, ABV 7.3% Orange golden colour on the body, very hazy, with a two fingers tall and thick, white head sitting on top, with very good retention. Light hops on the aroma, grass, grapefruit. Nice taste with a touch of refreshing sourness, malts, grass, light yeast, apricit and peach. Medium thin body, high carbonation. corkyrory66	5 Hopjutters Enigma Stout de 7,8 % abv, à la superbe étiquette entre noir et bleu nuit. Très belle devise « unravel the mystery » … Brassée chez de Graal. Mon exemplaire avait 2 mois de plus que sa date limite. Couleur brun noir marron, à l’opacité très forte. Mousse brune clair, très crémeuse, stable à 2 mm. Superbe. Arômes de malt choco, chocolat fin, prune, pâte d’amandes, ganache. Nez d’une sweet stout. 1ère bouche soyeuse, à la belle entame malt, café, choco et pointe légère de fumée. Arrière-bouche riche, complète, soyeuse. 2ème à la texture superbe, et au grand ensemble malt/houblon/liqueur. Arrière-bouche qui pose des questions mystiques. 3ème à l’ensemble qui mêle malt, fût et fruité. Arrière-bouche très complexe avec des herbes, et une impression de Mont Ventoux. Longueur qui se déguste et se laisse admirer. Jambes fines, serrées, groupées. Levure douce, un rien fruitée, très belle ligne. Alcool tout à fait adéquat au genre, il souligne délicatement toutes les nuances. Finale avec force et distinction. CONCLUSION : un stout à laisser vieillir encore plus que le mien, et on aura sans doute alors la solution de l’Enigma !! En attendant, savourez-la ... Saturday, December 19, 2015
sayravai	3.9 Hopjutters Enigma (Bottled, BBE 10/2015) Very dark reddish brown with a smallish but firm and lasting, beige head. Nose of coffee, licorice, lightly roasted malt, some oatmeal sourness, some sweetness, too. Flavor is licoricey, mildly roasted-malty; leaning towards imperial porter, but not too sweet and also slightly sour. Lush coffee flavors. Quite full-bodied, yet easy to drink, soft CO2, very nice mf. Not the most complex brew, but very well balanced and enjoyable. corkyrory66	4.9 Hopjutters Mouten Kop Ambrée aux herbes aromatiques de 6 % abv, brassée chez de Graal à Brakel, par les Hopjutters. Couleur ambre roux moyen, à la clarté nette. Bulles fines en colonne centrale, vives. Mousse beige clair, nappage stable à 1 mm. Arômes de malt finement grillé, herbes, fruits mûrs, bogue de châtaigne, pointe de mangue. 1ère bouche douce mais texturée, à la belle entame malt et épices. Arrière-bouche qui ressort les épices, dont la muscade, fortement. 2ème au grand ensemble malt/épices/fleurs tropicales. Arrière-bouche dense, longue, complexe. 3ème avec beaucoup de personnalité. Arrière-bouche de grande ampleur et équilibrée. Longueur qui s’oriente vers une liqueur fine, avec des touches de bois exo. Très belle et forte. Jambes fines, bien marquées. Levure précise, pointue, un peu salée, belle ligne. Alcool très efficace pour ce niveau abv, il soutient le tout de main ferme. Finale avec un élan de toute beauté. CONCLUSION : bière très originale, assez épicée, mais dont l’impression finale d’ensemble est plutôt la grande densité. Très grande bière, surtout pour des hob-byers ... Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Iets van fruit en kriek is te bespeuren echter voor een fruitbier veel te weinig. Hieruit blijkt dat het alcohol percentage niets zegt over de kwaliteit van en fruitbier.
