sylent1	3.3 Fat Friar's Mead I like the fact this mead is not cloying sweet as so many are-almost as if it were made with the addition of grain. The fermentation has left a spicy/ honey/ bad fruit odor that you will like or you will not. The after taste was clean without the lingering sweetness of other meads enabling one to ponder drinking several. Not having seriously explored the brew I can’t tell you what the effect is but overall I was very satisfied. Many meads give an ebullient lift that doesn’t last very long and an unfortunate sweet aftertaste that lasts a good long while Saturday, May 10, 2014

beastiefan2k	3.4 Fat Friar's Mead 12oz bottle. Still mead. Super pale gold color. Aroma is so weird cleaning product lemon pledge, ginger, grassy. Flavor starts similar but has the traditional sweet almost appley character and much less ginger and lemon pledge. Cool but super weird. Saturday, October 12, 2013
