Grumbo	1.7 Carlsrom Skol Original 17/2/2024. Can from Rasputin Food and Wine, Ipswich. Pours clear pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is corny, grainy, malt, veg, overripe citrus, vague caramel. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Light body, very watery, average carbonation. Developing sweetness with some metallic bitterness and a gassy finish. Quite poor. Saturday, February 17, 2024

Appearance - brewer bottle cap, simple label.clear yellow Amber, weak carbonation. From-random glass Taste-weak hops, bitter tones, hoppy aftertaste. Bit dry. midovark	3.1 Bucur Brună Bottle at home, courtesy of my fam. Pours chestnut brown with a tan head. Nose is grains, toasted malts, light chocolate notes, bread. Taste is rather sweet, malty, with notes of bread, toasted malts, nuts and chocolate. Closes with a sweet finish, has a light to medium, slightly creamy body and soft carbonation. Arctium_lappa	3 Bucur Brună 33 cl at L’Artista pub in Ramnicu Vâlcea. Poured black-brown with a quite deep & persistent creamy-fawn head. Aroma has some biscuit and bread, as does the taste - which was dry, rather thin and 1-dimensional but also pleasant enough with some depth but not the complexity that a 6.5% beer should have. Radubrew	2.9 Bucur Brună Appearance: black, lots of carbonation, dense and creamy head. Aroma: roasted malt, coffee, raisins, plums, a hint of red wine. Flavor: bitter-sweet, a bit roasted, some fermented fruits, traces of coffee. Aftertaste: bitter-sweet, not too deep, a bit like roasted malt. Overall Impression: this one is decent, but nothing special about it. Acceptable. Taken into consideration the package and the price, you would expect it to be much better. Crystal clear gold with a head that didn't last, not much lacing but a long-lasting stream of fast-rising carbonation. Aroma of metallic grains, bread, faint stewed vegetables and honey. In the mouth, light but not watery, medium carbonation, flavours pretty similar to the aromas, enough bitterness to give a crisp finish. bilcho1	2.9 Bucur Brună 330ml bottle from Carrefour in Bucharest, drunk at home on a mild January evening. Clear but almost opaque deep garnet with a fluffy off-white head, lacing to match and a steady updraft of fast-rising carbonation. On the nose, burnt toast, grains, caramel. More of the same in the mouth, almost bone dry at first but opening up with some sweetness in the back of the palate, burnt sourness blends in with the mid bitterness through into the finish.
