Davros	2.9 Thunder Road Hopmania Hazy Juicy NEIPA Pours hazy orange/amber with a large lasting head. Nose shows spicy, piny and resinous hops with some caramel in the background. Flavours include more caramel, bready malt, orange marmalade, pine and resinous hops. Almost bordering on English Bitter. There's an odd astringency too. Thursday, May 27, 2021

Hop_Hedonist	4.1 Thunder Road Hopmania Hazy Juicy NEIPA Can - decent fruity hoppy aroma - decent depth of predominantly stonefruit flavour - not much head retention which is a pity - a decent lick of bitterness brings me back for another gulp - okay it’s a bit two dimensional but so what... this is a thoroughly decent Hazy... was a punt and a surprise find at Vintage Cellars which has been rewarded - it doesn’t light my world on fire but it’s good and a good price and I’d be happy to drink again if offered - those who are at the beginning of their craft beer journey would appreciate this more as it’s a step up from mass-produced ‘craft’ beer which lacks much flavour. mkel07	3.9 Thunder Road Shake it Up Can from Dan Murphy's on 30 September 2020. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Poured with a mountain of soft white foam that took an age to settle. Bright apricot golden colour - looks solid in the glass. A mixture of different fruit aromas greet the nose thanks to the addition of Mosaic and Galaxy hops and an infusion of ,mango puree. Pyobon	3.7 Thunder Road Hopmania Hazy Juicy NEIPA (Can) Pours cloudy golden amber with white head. Pleasant aroma of orange juice with pine notes. Great mouthfeel with full body and plenty of soft carbonation. Taste is juicy - citrus, hops - over some nice biscuit malt, with some restrained pleasant bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable. Medium body with plenty of lovely soft carbonation giving a smooth mouthfeel. Great fruity start with some really quite restrained but pleasant bitterness in the finish. Definite notes of orange. ALLOVATE	3.4 Thunder Road Tropical Splash Pacific Ale A little out of date hidden in the depths of my fridge. Produces up a hazy, pastel yellow in body with no head bar a ring of white on the meniscus. Melonous, slightly floral and clean, 'hoppy' nose with hints of cantaloupe, honeydew and hami melon. And this follows through on to the palate. Quite light, spritzy, rounded and soft in the back with low hop bitterness and a powdery malt and slightly floral finish. Melonous fruit dominates again. Quite tangy and zesty with just a little fruit sweetness upfront. Has a powdery, cereal-like mid-palate reminiscent of toasted oats. Dangerously sessionable. Just wished it had more of a bitter hop presence. Excellent lawn-mower beer. (37,5cL can, BB 28/08/20, 1st Choice Liquor Riverton) Thursday, September 10, 2020

KeefOz	3.3 Thunder Road Hopmania Hazy Juicy NEIPA BB 09/10/20. From a can poured a hazy golden amber with 1cm of white dense that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation high, lively and medium to coarse. Aroma moderately strong of fresh orange juice, subtle of hops and hints of zest. Taste with lots of sweet citrus (orange fruit and hints of zest) and subtle malt; quite juicy; low bitterness. Light body. Smooth, crisp and clean with a medium length finish. nimbleprop	2.9 Thunder Road Sultana Pours a clear gold, creamy white head. Honestly, people need a tutorial on what constitutes a NEIPA. You can call a duck a cow... Both are delicious, but only one can moo. Nose has some pineapple, some flower, some vanilla. Flavor is fine, pineapple, honey, grist. Finishes medium bodied. This beer is dry hopped and is well balanced. I prefer this to the" other" Pacific Ale. Monday, January 13, 2020

Muggus69	3.3 Thunder Road Coconut Porter 440mL can from Dan Murphy's Sale 5%ABV BB 04.03.20 Actually quite like the artwork on these ones; colourful yet simplistic. Beer pours a dark ruby, near opaque, beige head. Decent aroma - fair hit of coffee & chocolate and toasted coconut straight up - some biscuity character underneath, dark caramel. Medium body, there's a sort of slickness/oilness about it, fuller than expected (lactose?), rather smooth, drops away somewhat. Coconut more pronounced on the palate - distinctly toasty, drying, get some vanilla too, slightly fudgey chocolate & coffee but it doesn't really last. Low bitterness, get a sort roasty note...possibly from coconut, again!? Flavours are nice, sort of shows promise early on in the piece, but it falls away, not enough oomph to carry it! Strong hoppy aroma, mostly resin, with some slightly artificial tasting fruitiness from the berries. Mild bitterness, medium sweetness, slight acidity from the berries and quite fruity. Carbonation very high, very lively and fine to medium. Aroma of sweet berry. taste is strongly of boysenberry with lactose notes; moderately sweet; low bitterness. Light to medium body. mkel07	3.7 Thunder Road Bright Berry Fruit Sour Ale Can from Fist Choice Liquor on 6 August 2019. This beer is the first in Thunder Road Brewing’s limited edition Brewhouse series. This is the first beer that I have had from Thunder Road Brewing in a while and it seems as though the quality of their beers have improved. While the beer looks a touch flat and lifeless in the glass, in the mouth it is a different story - lively, tart and refreshing.There is a strong presence of raspberry in the aroma and the flavour and you have to work a bit harder to get the pomegranate in the flavour.
