jd_cph	2.2 Odden Havørn Amber brown color with white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of honey and anis. Taste is very anissey, slightly sweet with notes of pine an liquirice with a distinct afterburn from the alcohol. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is fairly intense, sweet and with a light boozy whiff. Dark, sweet fruits, caramel, toffee. Licorice with a touch of salt. Light peat and roast. Notable presence of alcohol. Light carbonation. medium thick, oily, almost flat texture. Flavor is intense and has a strong, deep sweetness. Followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. On the verge of being sugary. Lingers for a while. Light presence of alcohol. Solid, very sweet and semi-heavy porter. Not bad. This time in brown. The version I am drinking Holds 7,5 in ABV. Pours opaque dark brown with a medium-sizedlight brown head. Bubbly. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and with a light boozy touch. Brown sugar, caramel, toffee. Lighter sourish, bitter notes. Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, yet tingling texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by moderately strong, sour-ish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a moderately strong metallic tang. Lingers for a while. Average stout with a decent boozy bite. Saturday, January 11, 2020

In neon yellow. Slightly too old. Best before august 2019. Pours murky orange with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing. Aroma is medium-intense with a roasted sweetness supplemented by a sharp sourness. Roasted malts and caramel. Harsh grainy sourness. Citrus and hints of ginger. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is fairly sweet followed by more moderate harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-sweet with slight overweight to the bitter side. Lingers for a while. The sweet and roasted side works fairly well but the sharp, herbal and harsh bitterness is a bit unpleasant. Sunday, December 29, 2019

Settles as a small patch of foam not even close to covering the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium-intense, very much on the malty side with fruity notes. Sweet malts, bread and straws. Moderately strong notes of peach and pineapple. Sourish notes of citrus fruit. Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong, harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a citric streak. Dry finish. Malty yet harshly bitter brew. Saturday, December 21, 2019

Slightly too old (Best before september 2019). Pours unclear, dirty amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium-intense, malty sweet and grainy. Sweet pale malts, cardboard, bread. Light lemonade-ish touch of citrus and sugar. Light chemical notes of glue and yeast as the beer warms up. Medium carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture. Flavor is rather sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while. A bit too sweet and messy take on a pilsener - and I could do without the tang of glue. I like rough bitterness though. Sunday, December 15, 2019
