mrjaxson	3.6 Lowlands Brewing Company Tandem Dubbel A very nice pour made for an attractive deep brown liquid under light brown head. Milk chocolate, plums and a soft breeze of yeast were all present in the aroma. Taste was all sweet, but not heavily so. Solid, typical wit appearance - cloudy, almost opaque gold with a thick fluffy lasting head...banana, lemon and just a hint of farmy, murky yeast in the pleasing but slight aroma...on the tongue, only a hint of that wheaty tartness, this is overall much sweeter than usual for the style, and the finish is not far off from (sweet) lemonade...it’s got a decent fullness to the body, and it’s drinkable enough, and I was hot from walking outside and this was the first beer at lunch - but that’s not enough to make it memorable. I’ve had some or all of the other Lowlands Collaborative beers here at Hollander and a couple of other locations, and frankly none of them have been all that special. Sunday, August 21, 2016

Brown sugar, caramel, clove, cinnamon, candied fig and sweet bready notes in the taste. Sticky mouthfeel and low carbonation level. Lingering sweetness is not too overbearing.
