2.4 Big Nose Wheat Pour on tap at Art and Ale festival, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of lots of buttered popcorn, touch of biscuit, earth, slight wet grain note, not appetizing. Taste is a mix of butter, bread, some wet grain, husky notes, finishing slightly sweet, a bit earthy. Something off here. Sunday, August 26, 2012

2 Big Nose Red Ale On tap during 2011 Denver Brew at the Zoo. Transparent reddish amber with a rocky head. Bland malty nose. Taste was also bland, with stale toffee, some pale and biscuit malt...just didn’t come together. Pretty boring, in all. Sunday, September 11, 2011

3.9 Big Nose Wheat On tap during 2011 Denver Brew at the Zoo. Hazy gold with a small white cap. Big banana wheaty nose with a hint of clove. Textbook hefe aroma. Taste is very yeasty wheaty, with lots of banana too. Basically liquid banana bread without the brown sugar or nuts. Very flavorful and full, yet crisp and drinkable. Not sure how it stacks up as a wheat ale, but it comes across as a textbook perfect hefeweizen Sunday, September 11, 2011
