My first beer from Antigua and Barbuda. I have rated this with 2 stars on UT. The beer isn't very good, but it's a new country.

Land #170 Antigua. Met dank aan de ouders van m’n wannabe schoonzoon die deze hebben meegenomen. Inclusief een T-shirt. Bier zelf is weer niet bijzonder. Maar wel weer een tof land.

355ml can at Pineapple Beach Club on vacation in Antigua. Pours a clear gold with a thin, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy malt and corn. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, corn, sugar and skunky hops with a mildly bitter finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. I will sum this up with one word. Gross!!!

On tap at The Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua on vacation. Pours a clear gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of grainy malt and skunk. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, corn and skunky hops with a mildly bitter finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Not good, not even in the Caribbean heat.

Historic rating. Sampled a few of these whilst on a days tour of Antigua many years ago. Light gold, bit fizzy, fairly bland, but drunk cold on a hot day its refreshing and serves its purpose.

Poured from a can into a plastic cup. Pours a dark, semi-hazy gold with a lazy, creamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma consists of grainy oddness with a a sickly sweetness emanating. Tastes faintly yeasty, but mostly sugary. Quick finish and thankfully, no aftertaste.

The epic stink that just came from the bottle was horrifying it infected the entire room within seconds, birds actually fell from the sky and plants welted when this beer was opened an oil painting hanging on the wall started to cry…..probably could be worse though. Sweet corn malt and epic skunk is all this beer is…..stupid green bottles. The taste is so metallic its like I’m drinking a bloody nose. Crap beer from a beautiful country I wish I was there drinking this on the beach instead of on gullies coach. THANKS FOR THE BEER FRAN

Gold with a white cap that reduced to a bubble island that looked like the island of Antigua its self. Very east European smelling with mild skunky hops and corny malt. Taste is the same but add in some apple. Taste is dark but finishes overly sweet. Way better than I thought it would be but I wasn’t expecting anything but swill, so there you go.

This lump of shit is pretty much invisible. White skiff, smells. The taste is pretty better than I thought it would. Notable bitterness sneaks through, corn some other things. A very very plain beer from a very very plain friends.

Thanks someone for producing this. Words: clear, faint particles, corn, malt, popcorn, sweet, ok for swill, tasty - not, corn, dry, faint bitterness, smooth, some bubbles not huge, ends finally.

Yeah, I love the 7oz bottle. It makes me look like a giant when I hold it. So, y’know, bonus point for that. Anyway, corn, a little sour, a little metallic. Probably tastes better in the sun, on a boat. Thanks to Springslicker or bringing this!

Brilliantly clear yellow body with a tall, sticky white head. Grassy hop aroma with slight skunk. Not much flavor of any kind. A slight dryness in the finish. Light and refreshing, not much good nor bad about this one. It’s wet. Oh and it’s in a cute little ten ounce green bottle that Suttree will enjoy too!

Bottle. A friend brought this back from his cruise. Aroma was corn, malts, and yeast. Flavor was hay, biscuits, corn and malts. Not a whole lot to this beer. Thin watery body. I am guessing that it is a lot better if you are on the tropical island, not as good in mid missouri.

We drank bottles of this beer by the bucket at the beach in Antigua. Again, all the island beers taste better because you are there. Pale golden color with a clean nose of raw grains and faint citrus. When cold, this was a refreshing thist quencher, and it went well with the fried fish I picked off the bones at lunch. Some bready malts, raw grains, a light sweetness and a long, lemon/lime citrus finish.

Despite the exhortations of our tour guide, the is NOT the greatest of beers. However, it was a welcome drink on a hot day. A light gold colour from a green bottle, the aroma was almost undetectable. The taste was bitter and also sharp, with a mouthfeel that was almost watery and thin. Finished like a lager. Really good label, at least!

Can, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. (RB country no 100) A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Fruity nose with some pale malt sweetness. Sweetish, fruityish flavor with pale malts and some bitterness and alcohol notes. Medium body, rather dryish. Short finish with the flavors found initially, and lacking bitterness. A decent beer, nothing more. Nothing more expected either. (090516)

[Sampled with the duo Svoger & Svogergylp at DØE, Valby, 2009.] Took it cause I’m a countryticker, but it’s okay in the very hot climate. Some straws and small detectable aroma. Drink it frozen and feel better, than if it was from the celler. #90

One of the worst beers of the 180 something samples I had at the 3 day Copenhagen Beer Festival 2009. Pale yellow, very short white bubbly head. Grainy mild aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Grainy bit sweet boring flavour. Well, country rating no. 114, the very best part of this beer.

Had this during my stay at Antigua on my honeymoon with my wife. Interesting process here, Antigua has little in the form of excess water for the brewing process so they use desalinated water due to the low natural water sources. The beer pours out a golden yellow with a whispy tiny white head a bit darker than I expected but that is of little import. Smell is grainy, salty, and a touch of skunk I suppose. Light mouthfeel on this one tastes of corn, light malts, and hops try hard to make themselves known but fail miserably. I don’t know it was refreshing after a hot few hours on the beach but nothing I would really go out of my way for. A typical dissapointing Carribean lager.
