Ouseburn Valley Golden Ale
Cask Stillage at Racecourse, York 17/09/2011 Fruity aroma. Golden coloured fruity and a little rich on the palate with a hint of bitterness in a slightly floral lasting malt finish.

Ouseburn Valley Full Fat Milk Stout
Great first impressions. Sweet, fruity nose, plum front, chocolate too. Dark Cherry Coca-cola appearance--that ruby touch. Doesn’t reveal layers, however. It lingers on but seems never to kick into another gear. Flat palate. Surprising it doesn’t have more body with all that’s in it (incl. abv). Less than the sum of its parts. (at Bacchus, Newcastle)

Ouseburn Valley Victoria Tunnel Bitter
Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 04/07/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Light, fruity aroma with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour had some cereal malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Ouseburn Valley Full Fat Milk Stout
Pint at the Boathouse, Wylam. Black with a dense and lasting offwhite head. Strong and smooth. Genuinely creamy, properly lives up to the name, a delicious full bodied slick treat.

Ouseburn Valley Brandling Porter
Pint at the Central in Gateshead. Almost black with a fingernail of off white head. Pleasantly malty aroma, gentle roasty coffee and licquorice flavours. Smooth slick mouth feel, and a drier finish than I expected. Another good un’ from Ouseburn.

Ouseburn Valley Milk Stout
Cask, Leicester Fest 12. Near black with a thin beige head. Aromas are gritty coffee and cocao with herbal, light liquorice. Smoky with leather aspects. Flavours are coffee with blackberry and some lemon. Quite thin bodied with an earthy, dry finish. OK.

Ouseburn Valley Armstrong Bitter
Pint at the Lady Grey Newcastle. Hazy gold with an off-white head. Nutty caramel flavour, with a slight smokiness and a bitter hop finish. Not bad.

Ouseburn Valley Milk Stout
Bottle, Coppers, Ncl. Lovely milk chocolate flavour follows on from a good rich roast aroma. Smooth on the palate, a fine ruby hued dark beer. Good carbonation, has a blackcurrant finish, which is a bit short. Easy going, but with plenty of taste, enjoyed this a lot.

Pours clear copper colour with no head. Aroma of strong malts, fruits and spices. Very unique aroma to be honest. Flavour of malts, fruits, hay, spices and some caramel.
