All the same ingredients as our pale lager...LOL. Easily the best of the 3, even though in this case it’s not saying much. Won’t appear on my worst beers of the year list like the light and pale likely will. Light amber color, still generic and corn laden aroma and flavor but with an ever so light toast and caramel flavor and smell that saves it from being TOTAL garbage.

Bottle. Golden pour. Smells more of corn still than malt or hops. Slightly less retched than the light lager, but within the style even more of a miss.

Bottle. Generic corn macro sweet lager. No hop bite, little discernible malt. Watery. What a combo!

Bottle courtesy of Asbjorn, thanks. My first MN beer rating. Pours clear amber with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, light hop and fruit, also metallic, vegetable and slight nut. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light to medium body, thinnish texture, average carbonation. Finish is malty, sticky. Better tick than beer.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours light brown with head and lace. Aroma of caramel malt. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of amber malt, slight caramel. Overall somewhat flavorful but simplistic and lackluster.

Daytona Beach, Fl - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Light, pale golden pour, long lasting thin, snow white head,. Aroma is quite bland, some light apple juice notes, some Citronella accents. Flavor is not off-putting by any means, but slightly bland., some apple juice accents. Thinnish mouthfeel.

Apr. 24, 2016; 12 oz. bottle. Dusty six-pack on sale in Sangerfield, NY. This certainly looks nice being poured into the glass...lovely amber color with light tan head & lacing. I like the smooth drinkability and (advertised) caramel notes, but there’s a vegetal (as another reviewer aptly described it) quality to this that I don’t care for.

Sampled from the bottle at Winter Dabbler. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains, butterscotch and a metallic note. Flavor has sweet grains, butterscotch and hint of a metallic note.

Small (1 or 2 oz.) pour, from a 12 oz. bottle, at Beer Dabbler Winter Carnival. Consumed on 2-6-16. Pours bronze with beige head. Apple juice and honey scents. Bland, juicy taste. Not good. Crisp and lively enough in the palate. Light body.

Really good drinkable beer if your looking for something really not crafty. It’s similar to an everyday beer. Love the fact they support our veterans. Pretty good overall

Clear golden yellow color with a thin layer of foam. Mild sour grain aroma with the taste being similar but a bit more skunky. Watery palate and heavily carbonated. I’m not going to pour it down the drain but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Bottle split at RBWG ’15 hotel lobby share on the final night, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Light golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangerine, straw, pale malt, grain, trace of hops. Taste comprises pale malts, straw, faint citric, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for a pale lager.

Fluffy head releases an aroma that’s mostly Red Star Yeast (its pungency filled the air of downtown Milwaukee until the factory was leveled several years ago), musty leaves and a small part creamed corn. Lightweight body doesn’t do the brew any favors. The finish is dry but not sharp -- c’mon hops, if you’re in there, pull your weight! Acceptable. Poured from a bottle.

Straw color with thin, lasting head and lacing. Looks and tastes slightly better than a typical macro lager. Subtle floral hops with hay/wheat flavor. Easy drinking, crisp, but nothing special.

Fuck! I purchased an entire 6 pack of this slop! Slightly darker yellow. Head goops out pretty slow and thick. Light beer mouthfeel. Very little aftertaste and almost no hops detected. I might as well bought Milwaukees Beast light! Seven bucks for this shit. Nothing but overpriced corn water! I’m pissed! Bottle.

Straw colored liquid with a tall, slowly dissipating off-white head. Aromas of grains, mild corn and hints of herbal hops. Light sweet malt flavors. Quite sweet, but a acidic balance. Bitterness takes a long time to enter. Not terrible, just light. I guess that is what they are saying it is.

Gonna bring this shit parade back around to the good ole’ USofeh! 12oz bottle pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Mild arm pit aroma with grain malt and light grassy hops. Sweet malt taste coming into a hint of copper pennies, and finishing with corn and a mild bitterness. Belch...

This is clear yellow w/ a foamy head. It is lightly skunked even though it’s in a brown bottle. It is sweet and syrupy for the style and yet still devoid of any real malt character. There is a slight bitterness in the finish to compensate but overall this stuff is just tough to drink.

Straw yellow color with white head and minimal lacing. Aroma of corn, cereal, and bread.Taste of the same. Very smooth, little taste, just like drinking any ordinary pilsner even though it says lager. A slight step up above their Amber flavor, but nothing to write home about.

Pours a hazy amber with tan head. Can smell a slight bread smell. Taste of grains and slight sweet taste. Nothing much going on here. Very smooth and not much flavor. Ashamed to see it say Rochester NY on the bottle because some great beers come out of Genesee area but this isn’t one of them.

12 oz. pours clear copper with a film of bubbles. Aroma is mild but pleasant with lightly spiced caramel, bread and toasted nut. Initial tastes are of the same mix with a tad more roast. The finish shows dry grass, citrus and some slight dry cocoa and husky grain. More toward light than medium body is to the sweet side, but has a balancing dry finish. Medium-high carbonation is not annoying but I would prefer less.

Clear golden with a lasting thin covering of meringue-like foam. Aroma of honey, maize, light citrus and toast. Tastes of lemon-lime sweetarts candy, roasted corn, and a bit of dry grass. Light body is overly carbonated like a soda and to the sweet side. The Founding Fathers would definitely pale at this one.

Bottle shared late night in the hotel lobby during RBWG 2015. Pours crystal clear pale yellow, with a creamy white head. Basic cereal and pale malt aroma. Medium sweet flavor, further sugary pale malts, cereal, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simplistic cereal finish, mellow hay, white bread.

Tasted during RBWG post-grand tasting shit-show hotel-tasting. 12oz bottle. Clear golden, slight orange color. Off-white head. Solid lace. Thicker ridges. Medium to bigger body. Kind of soft, sort of rough lighter carbonation. Bready malt, some macro-type bite. Moderate sweet taste, mild bitter. Mild bit of tart. Some funk, macro bite. No. Great terrible lager.

My wife’s favorite beers are amber lagers and I like to mix them in here and there also. Decided to get her a six pack of these to try since 50% goes to military families so what the heck. I had to take one for rating. This is actually very good for an easy drinking session able type beer. Good malt base, caramel, bread. She liked them too.
