slowrunner77	2.2 Founding Fathers Amber All the same ingredients as our pale lager...LOL. Easily the best of the 3, even though in this case it’s not saying much. Won’t appear on my worst beers of the year list like the light and pale likely will. Light amber color, still generic and corn laden aroma and flavor but with an ever so light toast and caramel flavor and smell that saves it from being TOTAL garbage. Saturday, March 18, 2017

Aroma of malt, light hop and fruit, also metallic, vegetable and slight nut. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light to medium body, thinnish texture, average carbonation. mrjaxson	2 Founding Fathers Pale Fluffy head releases an aroma that’s mostly Red Star Yeast (its pungency filled the air of downtown Milwaukee until the factory was leveled several years ago), musty leaves and a small part creamed corn. It is sweet and syrupy for the style and yet still devoid of any real malt character. There is a slight bitterness in the finish to compensate but overall this stuff is just tough to drink. nearbeer	3 Founding Fathers Amber 12 oz. pours clear copper with a film of bubbles. Aroma is mild but pleasant with lightly spiced caramel, bread and toasted nut. Initial tastes are of the same mix with a tad more roast. The finish shows dry grass, citrus and some slight dry cocoa and husky grain. More toward light than medium body is to the sweet side, but has a balancing dry finish. Medium-high carbonation is not annoying but I would prefer less. Wednesday, March 11, 2015
