O.H.S.O. Slow Ride 3.3
On tap at the source. Much hops, almost undistinguishable taste in the malange. Drinkable but I would like a direction and purpose rather than whatever hops are about.

O.H.S.O. Barrel-Aged Praying Monk Quad 3.9
With nectarines and plums. Murky copper hue with a small, dense head of sandy tan. Aroma is raisin, bubblegum, maple, fig, brown sugar. Sweet but very complex. Flavor is more tangy, with big fig and prune, plum, soft toast and cocoa, alcohol, maple. Too-high carbonation. Good complexity, surprisingly tasty.

O.H.S.O. Hefeweizen 3
Perfect hazy yellow appearance. Love the banana aroma. However the taste while good fell a bit flat for me. Would have liked a stronger hefe taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

O.H.S.O. Hefeweizen 2.8
Not bad for a brewpub Hefeweizen. It has reasonable German wheat beer phenolics. Super cloudy. Reasonable body. Refreshing. A bit muddled and unrefined, but, again, for a brewpub it's pretty good. It helped that I was really in the mid for a Hefeweizen!

BOLTZ7555
O.H.S.O. Imperial Pumpkin 3.9
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest! Dark burnt orange/mahogany pour with a small eggshell head. Nice spice that includes cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, oak, coffee, cocoa, and toffee. Missing something...wish I could put my finger on it. Sense the strong. Maybe a less aggressive (can’t believe I am saying this) would be more enjoyable.

BOLTZ7555
O.H.S.O. Mexican Imperial Stout 4.1
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest! Without doubt, the best beer that O.H.S.O. has ever produced. Incredible inclusions of cocoa, cinnamon, mole, capsaicin heat, coffee, toffee, and brownie batter. Alcohol is mitigated but warming. Dark mahogany, nearly inky pour, with a mocha colored head. Ample clumping inside the glass. Yum!

O.H.S.O. Hoppy IPA 3.5
Tap in a shaker pint. Pale gold hue with slight haze and not much head. Straightforward American IPA aroma, packed with citrus -- Orange and lemon peel, candied orange, a little caramel. The citrus blend in the flavor is fairly complex, giving off notes of sweet tangerine juice, grapefruit and orange peel along with a bit of pineapple and grass. Finish has a nice dash of malt in the form of honey and biscuits. Bright, bracing bitterness. Solid.

O.H.S.O. What does the Yeast do? California Lager 3.5
Yellow pour, white head. Last rating of the 5 different yeasts added to an american pale ale base at OHSO. This one added some crispness, a bit drier than all but the saison, light biscuity notes. Good.

O.H.S.O. What does the Yeast do? Belgian Ale 3.7
Yellow pour, white head. This version of the 5 yeastie boys series added some spice, banana, clove and bubblegum to the base pale ale. Cool beer. One of my top 2 in the series.

O.H.S.O. What does the Yeast do? Saison 3.8
Part of the 5 yeast series. Also called yeasty boys by OHSO. Saison yeast added some spice and the beer was dried out. One of my 2 favorites in the series. I think its really neat that breweries do this not only for their own education but for the customers as well!

O.H.S.O. What does the Yeast do? American Ale 3.5

O.H.S.O. What does the Yeast do? British Ale 2.6
Interesting 5 part series that OHSO did. Base was an american pale. 5 different yeasts. This was the worst by far. Smelled bad and tasted muddled and not very good. Flavor was just a mess...biscuity but off.

O.H.S.O./ Freak’n Blueberry Pie 3.9
Dark brown pour, tan head. This one got better as it aged a bit. Fresh it was roasty and very little blueberry taste. At the OHSO pie social the creaminess came out with more blueberry flavor. Pretty nice beer!

O.H.S.O./Borderlands Pumpkin Pie 3.6
Pretty standard robust porter with the light offering of some pumpkin pie spices. I wouldve liked this with some more body and maybe a bigger presence of pumpkin.

O.H.S.O./Perch Rhubarb Pie 3.6
Pours a nice dark brown color, tan head. Lightly tart, a bit roasty for my likes. The beer was pretty good but I didn’t get a lot that reminded me of a rhubarb pie. Still a solid offering. OHSO pie beer social.

O.H.S.O./Motherbunch Shepherd’s Pie 4.1
Gold pour, white head for OHSO pie beer social. This one is cool Totally vegan. But the addition of rosemary and thyme gave it just enough flavors to remind you of a scratch shepherds pie. Neat idea, neat exectution.

O.H.S.O./Dubina Banana Cream Pie 4.1
Cloudy yellow with a nice pillowy white head. Great job by Jared Dubina on this one in conjunction with OHSO for their pie beer social. They upped the esthers and added lactose. And yep, its cream and loaded with banana flavor. Superb!

O.H.S.O./Historic Big ’Ol Piehole 4
Dark brown pour, tan head. This is a bigger version of the regular piehole. I enjoyed it a lot. The roast and chocolate notes did stand out more than the regular version, but I still got some nice dark cherry notes. Fun beer at the OHSO pie social.

O.H.S.O./San Tan Pineapple Upside Down Cake 2.3
Pours a darker, slightly dull gold, white head. This beer DID NOT taste like a pineapple upside down cake. Lacked any body, lacked pineapple, lacked sweetness...I found it to be quite lacking all the way around. Sadly.

O.H.S.O./THAT! Pecan Pie 3.5
OSHO pie social beer event. This is more of a roasty brown porter and the pecan was lighter than I would have hoped for. Very little pecan pie flavor to be honest. Needed some maple. Not bad but didn’t live up to the billing.

BiiruBierBeer
O.H.S.O. Key Lime 4.3
Smell is faint lime and general kolsch. Taste is lime, fruity pebbles, and a nice yeasty kolsch backbone. A slight bit of hops in the finish, but not much at all. Pretty damn tasty. Body is light to medium. Medium to high sharp carbonation with almost no foam.
