Claymore Amber 3.1
Pretty decent amber. Malt-heavy. Reddish orange with great head and lacing. Soft carbonation with a little cream. Some candied malt and caramel. Slightly sweet finish. Light note of booze. Tap at Highlanders.

Claymore Amber 2.3
A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a cloying sweet buttery malt, chemical maple, not nice. In mouth, a sweet mineral malt, like licking plaster, cloying butter notes, so-so. On tap at the Highlander, May 5 2012.

Claymore Lager 2
A pale yellow lager with a super lacing thin white head. In aroma, a sweet creamy malt with fruity esters and cream corn. In mouth, a strange sweet malt with raspy astringency, grain, not very good. On tap at the Highlander, May 5 2012.

Claymore Lager 2
Itís a lager served cold, and the aroma is light hints of malts amidst the usual nothingness that is often a lager aroma. Has your usual brown-yellow body and almost no head. Flavour is a light malt profile with a sour finish. Okay texture, but had a weird aftertaste. Itís an odd lager.

Claymore Amber 2.8
On draught @ The Highlander Pub in Ottawa. Has sharp malts and some caramel on the nose. Body is a boring copper-brown, little head. Flavour is malts and sourness, with a dry finish. Itís an average amber, just okay. enjoyable by the pitcher.
