Flavor is dark burntish toffeeish malt with some chocolate. Some dark fruit aspects. Not all that sweet. Malt for bitter. Deceptively easy drinker. Saturday, January 13, 2024

bhensonb	4.1 Track 7 Petulant Wisdom - Bourbon Barrel-Aged Waxed 500 from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown with a transient, slight tan head. Aroma of dark fruits with a bourbon note. Full bodied. It's malty. Heat stands in for bitterness. There's dark plummy fruit, heat, nice level of bourbon, and some oak wood astringency. Overall quite smooth and well integrated. Excellent. bhensonb	3.9 Track 7 Never a Dull Moment Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours slightly hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is very tropical. Med body. Flavor is very complexly tropical. Surprisingly towards dry with an astringency note. Moderately bitter or more. It's really flavorful. I think there's green melon, white berry and passion fruit. Maybe even green guava. brokensail	2.8 Track 7 / Full Circle Kitty Bottom On tap @ Caps & Taps. Cloudy reddish beer with an off-white head. The lactose and creaminess are quite strong on this one. Some jammy strawberry and cherry pie notes. Get a touch of citrus coming through as well as some sweet cake and bready malt. Mild bitterness and booze come through on the finish. Not my favorite. oh6gdx	3.5 Track 7 Panic IPA Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some sweet malts, tropical fruits and mild lemongrass too. Flavour is peach, apricot, some citrusy tones with a nice floral bitterness to it. Also a bit sweet malts along the hoppiness in the flavour. Saturday, December 31, 2022

BelgianBeerGal	4 Track 7 Enchanted Whip Draft at Jungle Bird In Sacramento after my first Mai tai. Pours a clear gold color with a short but foamy white head. Aroma is lactose and pineapple. Flavor is crazy good. Dank hops with mild bitterness, lactose creaminess and sweetness plus pineapple. Mighty fine. Monday, September 26, 2022

brokensail	3.6 Track 7 Chasing Rainbows On tap @ Caps & Taps. Hazed golden-orange beer with a small white head. The passion fruit and guava really dominate this one, though there is a touch of orange sweetness. A touch of bread, lemon juice, and citrus zest. Certainly very juicy and tropical overall. Body is pretty light with moderate carbonation. Ends up being a bit sweeter than I would like, but still not bad. Saturday, August 6, 2022

Caramel, bread, toast, and a lot of marmalade. Get some mango, stone fruit, and a hint of vanilla. Lingering bitterness of pine and citrus rind. Not my favorite. Sunday, July 31, 2022

Decent amount of coffee and vanilla along with a bit of cacao. Get a touch of sweet dark fruit and molasses, too. Slight green pepper note from the coffee, unfortunately, but otherwise okay. brokensail	3.5 Track 7 Darkness Imprisoning Me On tap @ Beer Revolution. Black in color with a thin tan head. Pretty much liquid Cocoa Puffs. Tastes of chocolate milk, vanilla, and a touch of roasted malt. Borderline pastry-tier stout here. Not much in the way of bitterness despite having coffee in it, you can barely perceive it. It’s an okay enough beer, but you have to be into the sweet stuff and I get a little tired of it. Sunday, July 17, 2022

Big time orange, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple. Still has a fair amount of herbal and pithy bitterness, particularly for the NE/juicy style IPA. Some bread and toast malt notes and sweetness to it as well. Overall, pretty nice and plenty of juicy citrus. Tuesday, July 12, 2022

A lot of sweet berry jam along with some vanilla. Definitely a bit of a creaminess to it, too. Slight bread and grain, some citrus, and a light grassy bitterness. I mean, I guess it's okay... A lot of lemon juice and watermelon rind, too. Kind of a Warhead candy sourness to it... quite bracing. It does have some watermelon flavor and aroma to it, but overall it's just a very, very sour beer and not much else is going on. Sunday, September 26, 2021

Somewhat on the sweeter side with some bread and pineapple. Light to moderate bitterness. Finishes somewhat citric/acidic with grapefruit and lime. Pretty juicy and fruit forward. Enjoyed this.
