500mo bottle shared with Delyan. A pretty standard Pilsener with a good hop malt balance, perhaps a bit more bitter than most, but refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle, 500 ml. Extremely good Czech lager. The colour shows it contains a huge amount of malt, deep golden, almost amber. Very good carbo, off-white foam ), thin layer stays on top. Aromas of sweet malt reminds me on banana, hay and faint vanilla. Very good palate, great amount of hops bring the bitterness. Medium aftertaste, very refreshing. Amazing beer for 1€...

Bottle. Pours clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is malty, but also a bit fruity. Flavor is malt, hay, slightly fruity with some unpleasant hops that remain in the aftertaste. One of worse Czech pilseners.

pale golden colour, moderate head; first of all: it smells like sweat totally destroying the experinece; taste of an average lager; disappointing beer in the light of the country of origin (Czech Rep)

Grasiger Hopfenduft, schlanker Malzkörper, die Blume könnte standhafter sein. Der anfangs grasige Hopfen wird zunehmend blumiger. Durchaus süffig.

33cl bottle, 0.60€, 4.7%. Dark gold to light amber colour, small white head, creamy. Distinct nose of pilsener malts and saaz hops. Aroma is classic bohemian pilsener, taste is typically bitter. Dry finish with grassy hops. Clean and crisp enough, medium bodied, soft carbonation. Straight forward bohemian Ležák. Similar to Budvar.

Even in the evident condition my sample was in it didn’t quite fit the meaty Budvar or even hoppy Plzen pilsners of the Czech Republic. A bad case of the floaties (?) on the pour disperses to become a misty, clouded orange gold beer capped by a dense but thin and lasting cap of white. Rich, cereal grain and toasted sweet malt dominate the nose a heavy, spiced peppery hit. Creamy and full in the mouth with a lot of peach and apricot amongst a bed of Bircher muesli. Peppery, spicy and subtly floral back ends it before a lengthy, fruity finish. Becomes cloying quickly so chilled it is! A little beyond it’s ’use-by’ is given so it doesn’t survive too well in the bottle. Need to track down a fresh batch to compare because this was rampant with esters. Botella. Deep dark brown close to black colour, light brown bubbly head, fairly well lasting. Sweet roasty caramel and maltish like aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet roastish caramel and malty bready like flavour. Thin but hey it’s a low alc. beer and a good one of it’s kind.
