Ronen HaKeha HaMerusha’at Dark Ale 2.4
12 oz. bottle from DSG. Thanks Barak! It pours very dark brown, almost back with a thin ring of light tan foam. The aroma is pretty estery with some toast, light notes of cocoa and some pear, apple and plum notes. Maybe a bit nutty too. The flavor is also pretty fruity and kind of tart on the palate with some dark toast, ash, and some light notes of fusel alcohols. Finishes pretty dirty. Not a fan.

Beer Bazaar Shesh Besh IPA 1.2
It pours orange/copper with an off white head. The aroma has bread, toasty malt and overall muddled. It had a medium lush body with soft carbonation. The taste has mushy caramel, woodiness and oxidation.

Grumbo
Ronen HaBeera HaMekhoeret India Pale Ale 3.3
Bottle received in a trade with Keren. Pours a golden brown colour with a lasting cream colour head. Aroma of hop, malt, caramel, with notes of banana and raisin. Quite high level of bitterness over a light sweetness. Medium body. Average carbonation. Finish has a lingering bitterness accompanied with caramel and treacle. Best beer I’ve tried from Israel (though to be fair this is only the 4th).

Obtained in a trade with DSG or tlahav (not sure, sorry). Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT XIII. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is some weird aspirin, peach, fizzy, light citrus hop, medicinal. Taste is weird medicinal, old aspirin, peach, fizzy, touch weirdly sweetish. Body is a bit fizzy. A bit odd but agreeable.

Aromas of soft creamy fruits and soft hop fruits, light floral, light malty, ripe yellow and orange fruits, light hop citric tints and some caramel. You can taste the flavour is build around a good malty core, very nice malty tones and a caramel tint with lots of hop fruits, floral hops and even a light hop acidity. Some herbal tones like grass and hay with some fat orange fruits and a yeasty sprinkle. Aftertaste is good/stronger bitter with a good dose of herbal tints, floral, grass and grapefruit tints. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied. Another tasty beer from Israel. Nice.

Beer Bazaar Bhindi IPA 3.1
Pours with massive foam. Takes time to empty the bottle and when i do, I still need to wait till foam comes down so I could smell anything. Aroma is fresh, bit of hops, even tropical ones, salt water, a bit of fruity sweetness. Taste reveals thin -medium body. Hops are there, not biting but rather soothing. Overall almost balanced, only strongly bitter aftertaste dominates the play a bit too much. Becomes better as the foam gets lower and I can actually see the beer (hazy copper) and get a better sniff of its aroma. Quite OK IPA.
