Pours slightly hazy pale yellowish gold with a spritz of white head and lacing. Aroma: fragrant pineapple and honey. Flavor: melon, honey, toast, grapefruit. Mouthfeel: light-bodied, thin and watery. Pours clear gold-orange with a 1/16" beige head and lots of clingy lacing; carbonation rises quickly in glass. Aroma and flavor (oddly identical): muddled orange, peach and grapefruit, with toast. Aroma is aged aoy, musty apple, brown bread, stale, waxy. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily, sticky, white apple, waxy. brown sugars, cola. Palate is semi sweet, oily, no carbonation. Moderate aromas of grassy hops with a peachy scent. Quite similar taste of grassy hops, and peaches, pale malts beneath. Mid-dry, distant bitter endnotes. Straightforward. [ As Truman’s Dark Side of the Moon Special ]. ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, dark malt, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, vanilla, dark malt, chocolate, tart notes. HogTownHarry	2.2 Truman's Swift September 19, 2019 - with lagerloather at The Abritrager on handpull cask. A loud, blowsy City boozer full of yammering empty-headed suits - so this is the perfect pint! Pale gold, tiny white head. For the life of me I don't know what this is supposed to be - aroma is very sweet and floral, but generically so - no biscuit or grassy/bitter notes at all, just like a light alcohol watered-down golden syrup. Taste follows - tries to be bitter but just manages somewhat nasty. Watery, still, sugary mouthfeel, quick finish but a sweet and increasingly unpleasant aftertaste. Off to find a palate cleanser! HogTownHarry	3.6 Truman's Zephyr September 10, 2019 - at Exmouth Arms - handpull cask. Ah, the Exmouth Arms - hard to find with all the construction around Euston, but worth it - open very early and always a couple of cask ticks available for me. Clear bright and refractive copper-gold with a small but long-lasting beige bubbly head. Mild dry and leafy aroma, light alcohol, some catty bitterness to it - a little acidic. Taste follows, very bitter, light alcohol, a bit twiggy but dry and pungent so that's okay. Light body, quite astringent, mild cask carbonation, medium-long dry non-coating tingly finish. Nice.
