BlackHaddock	3.3 Green Duck Rumble Town Hand-pulled half-pint in The Boot on 20th April 2024. Slight haze to the golden body, snow white crown. Decent enough brew, some orange like citrus notes on a semi-sweet malty base. Sunday, April 21, 2024
tommann	3.3 Green Duck Mango Kimono 440ml can. Pours very hazy orange with a thin head. Aroma is mango puree and sharp hops. Taste has mango juice and puree throughout with a slightly hoppy finish. A bit sharp. Short in the mouth. Saturday, April 20, 2024
Grumbo	3.4 Green Duck Labyrinth 13/4/2024. Cask at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours almost clear pale straw gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet tropical fruits, candied mango, citrus, tinned peach, flowers. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and a slight citric tart edge. Moderate body, quite smooth, soft carbonation. dragnet101	3.4 Green Duck High Voltage Cask at Head of Steam, Birmingham, Mid-March. Clear gold with small white head. Notes of tangy lychee, peach, mint and light grassy notes. Smooth decent mouthfeel. Not bad. Thursday, April 4, 2024
jmgreenuk	3.5 Green Duck Cherry Stout Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear reddish dark brown colour with a thin, broken off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, light cherry. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dry, light tart cherry, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nicely balanced and the cherry is nice and subtle all the way through and not tart and overpowering as I was expecting. Wednesday, April 3, 2024
Fin	3.3 Green Duck Session IPA On tap (cask) at The Ale House, St Peters, Worcester, 3rd April 2024 in the company of Mum and Keith. Pours hazy yellow colour with a nice white head, a little bit of sweetness, easy drinking decent session beer but bettered by the Birmingham Single Brunmie Cashmere. Wednesday, April 3, 2024
jmgreenuk	3.2 Green Duck Rhubarb Road Draft at the Fixed Wheel Easter festival, 2024. Poured a murky yellow golden colour with a round frothy white head. The aroma is light rhubarb. The flavour is light sour, with a smooth, herbal, slightly watery, big rhubarb palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat disappointing. Yes it’s rhubarb but it’s light and watery without much else. A lazy beer is perhaps the best way to describe this. Friday, March 29, 2024

jjsint	3.2 Green Duck Choco-Mint Fandango Handpull cask at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham on 2 March 2024. A meddled cloudy-ish brown colour. Chocolate malt aroma, just a little bit of mint. Tastes sweet, a bit like an alcoholic Ovaltine with more mint than the aroma but still not enough. I understand that this beer is a reworking of their seasonal beer Bah Humduck (q.v.), which I quite liked as the peppermint was more forward. This beer is a bit of a muddle. Martinsh	3.5 Green Duck Proper Porter On tap at Hop Vault, Stourbridge. Pours almost black with a large cream head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts, coffee and nuts in the aroma. In the mouth it is briefly sweet and juicy, but some underlying bitterness soon comes through. Flavour has cola and dandelion and burdock plus traces of ash and berry fruits,. Some bitterness in the finish. This is a decent porter. Sunday, March 10, 2024
dragnet101	3.2 Green Duck Close Action Cask at Head of Steam, Birmingham. The first review of this beer in 6.5 years - maybe Green Duck are working through their back catalogue. Crystal clear light gold with smooth white top. Tangy stone fruit, lychee and minerals. Light to medium bodied, slick, semi-drying, easy drinking but doesn't particularly stand out. I was expecting a strong Peppermint Aero aroma and taste, but sadly this didn't have the punch or oomph to deliver such a smell or flavour, all a bit underwhelming I'm sorry to say. Dark roasted malts with a hint of peppermint, fortunately not too strong as I didn't realise it was a flavoured stout when I bought it. Some chocolate notes, a little thinner than expected. Slightly messy aroma with some Gritty malt alongside the tangerine and papaya hop notes. Sweetvtaste with a touch of sourness, slightly astringent finish, and more malt in the aftertaste.
