Zlotta	2.2 Meister Radler 0.5 l can from 'Globus' (Castrop-Rauxel), best before August 2024. Clear, pale golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, quite fruity and slightly artificial aroma of lemonade and hints of grains. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, minimally sourish, rather fruity and slightly artificial taste of lemonade and some grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally tartish finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Average macro radler, not bad, not great either. Tuesday, February 27, 2024

Goldbarren	2.7 Torgauer Landbier Dieses Landbier erinnert mit seiner schmutzig-strohigen Schwarzbrotnote schon ein wenig an Misthaufen. Es ist zwar voll im Geschmack, aber dieser ist nicht besonders. Einen durchdringende wabblige Bittere mach es schwer dieses Bier zu mögen. Friday, May 17, 2019

Erzengel	3.7 Torgauer Doppel Caramel Sehr schönes Doppelcaramel. Sieht in der Bügelflasche sehr urig aus. Vor allem mit diesem altmodischen Etikett! Nur die Gummidichtung könnte mal ersetzt werden (schaut nicht gerade appetitlich aus und "ploppt" auch nicht wirklich.) Im Antrunk sehr schön herb-lechtsüßlich mit schöner Karamelnote, die allerdings auch sehr schnell wieder verschwindet. Kaum hat man es runtergeschluckt, ist der tolle Geschmack auch schon fast weg - eigentlich sehr schade! -> Sehr leckeres Malzbier, bei dem das Aroma nur etwas länger erhalten bleiben könnte. Ever since then I have wanted to try it since it eluded me. Anyway here goes: Clear brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and caramel. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Shaney	2.6 Torgauer Landbier #841 Das Aussehen dieses Landbieres geht ja noch, aber was dann folgt ist ziemlich unterdurchschnittlich. Bissige Würze, ohne vollmundig zu sein. Eher auf der süßen Seite, ohne Hopfen aufzuweisen. Für ein Landbier auch zu sperrig und der Alkohol schmeckt zu deutlich hervor. Smells much like a bakery, though there is a certain foulness that presents itself. Tight body, medium carbonation, slick skunk. Shaney	2.4 Torgauer Maibock #1095 Es sieht etwas aus wie abgestandene Cola. In der Nase etwas säuerlich-süß-brotiges, nicht so doll. Der Antrunk läßt mich erschauern: Bissige Würze, mächtige Alkoholnote, Lakritze, Sauerteig, brotig. Kaum runterzuschlucken. Selbst bei Kleinstschlücken kommt der Würgereiz.
