Pours clear very pale gold, spritzy but with minimal head. Aroma is sharp, green apple, citrus, slight funky earthy edge. Quite tart and crisp, moderately sweet. Lively carbonation. Drying finish. Subtle, somewhat elegant nose to it; apple candy, dried apple, faint raspberry undertones that are typical of Pink Ladys. Delicate, crisp palate, not bone-dry but just enough residual sweetness to lift the apple character, a nice clean line of acidity lengthens the finish. Finely beaded carbonation. SeriousBrid	3.9 Apple Thief Pink Lady Cider Very clean blushing straw colour, a clear head that instantly dissolved and lively carbonation. Smells sweet and fruity, the pink apple is apparent without being overly obvious, with hints of grape and lavender. The flavours are mild with restrained sweetness. Crisp and dry with a sweet spicy finish, I had to remind myself that I was drinking cider and not quite decent champagne. This is a really pleasant and refreshing cider, a big step away from the sticky over-sweetness of many of its counterparts. Elegant and very nice. Wednesday, April 25, 2012
