coasternut	3.8 Heathen Astral Warrior This is a decent NEIPA with a good citrus aroma and mild taste. The newer beers seem to have a less hoppy taste. Good solid beer but nothing special. Wednesday, March 20, 2024
coasternut	3.1 Heathen Vindication This beer pours a nice golden color with just a small head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is quite mild, just a little of the yeast flavor. coasternut	4.2 Heathen Something Nutty is Goin' on Here This beer pours a medium brown color with a nice roasted malt aroma along with the chocolate and vanilla. Taste is the same along with a slight taste of walnuts. Very flavorful and easy drinking Thursday, February 22, 2024
coasternut	3.5 Heathen West Coast Pilsner Had this beer a few days ago and it pours a nice golden clear color with a decent head and a little more hop aroma than I would expect from a pilsner. It has a solid pilsner malt and yeast backbone, good but not great. Thursday, February 22, 2024
coasternut	3.5 Heathen Stellar Collision Coffee Porter This beer pours a dark brown in color with a minimal head. It has a slight coffee aroma and roasted malts. I don't like coffee or beers flavored with coffee, so I was expecting the worst when I tried this beer. I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it tasted. A very mild coffee flavor and a very good roasted malts with a big hint of chocolate flavor. Had with brunch. Saturday, February 17, 2024
coasternut	3.7 Heathen Tribal Jam: Orange Marmalade Pours a hazy pulp colored orange. Couldn't really tell if there was any head on the pour. Aroma of oranges and slight vanilla and sweetness. Taste was a nice slightly bitter orange. Very enjoyable had with brunch and was delicious. Saturday, February 17, 2024
coasternut	3.1 Heathen Guava of the Galaxy Pours a hazy/foggy reddish purple with a minimal head. Aroma is not much of anything. Taste is slightly sweet and sour. A nice guava taste, but mild. It's an OK sour. Saturday, February 17, 2024
coasternut	3.6 Heathen Dissident Aggressor Hazy IPA Pours a semi-hazy translucent golden color with a small to medium head. It has an orange/lemon aroma with tropical fruit also, along with the malt. Easy drinking with no real strong hop bitterness. No date on can but have had for a least 8 or 9 months Thursday, February 8, 2024
coasternut	3.2 Heathen Seeds of Darkness: Hubris This beer pours a purplish color with no head. The aroma is blueberries and slight basil as is the taste. The basil flavor stands out more so on this beer than the basil on a lemon basil cider I've tried. This is one of the better sours that I've tasted, in my opinion. Saturday, January 20, 2024
coasternut	4.1 Heathen Stay Puft Pours a Dark chocolate color with a minimal head and a nice aroma of graham crackers, chocolate and vanilla. It has a medium body and mouthfeel. Very tasty easy drinking stout and though you have a slight aroma of alcohol in it. It is stronger than you might think. Friday, January 19, 2024
coasternut	3.5 Heathen El Chocolate Caliente Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cinnamon, and spice. This one finishes with a nice chocolate and hot pepper flavor. Very good, but definitely a sipper. Friday, January 19, 2024

coasternut	3.6 Heathen/Vice Beer Sticky Bandits Pours a nice golden color with medium head that stays for a while. Aroma is very citrusy, lemon, lime and grapefruit, as is the taste. It has a hint of sweetness to balance it out. Decent collaboration. Friday, January 19, 2024

andrewje41	3.7 Heathen Arson Amber Draft pour pint at Henry's Tavern, Portland Airport. Copper and clean appearance, thin fading head. Bold and bitter amber ale, toasty malts with a caramel background. Nice bite. Lighter abv, but an aggressive palate. Hint of berry mixed into the lingering malt bill. Tough to make Amber's unique in my opinion, but easy to make them taste good. Enjoyed this. Thursday, January 11, 2024
bhensonb	4 Heathen Epitaph - Bourbon Barrel Can from Tavour. Pours very dark brn/blk with a large creamy dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, anise, dark malt and some bourbon notes. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is pretty much the aroma but with some oak astringency. There's very little heat. Not dry, but pretty bitter - likely from burnt malt. coasternut	4 Heathen / Live Oak Southern Lights This was my favorite beer last night that I had. It pours an orange/amber in color and has an aroma of honey and floral. The hop taste is very mild, almost like a fresh hopped beer. It is sweet, but not overly so with a nice malt base that also seems mild. Thursday, November 9, 2023

coasternut	3.5 Heathen Mistwraith Had this beer last night. One of two Hazys I had last night and both quite similar. This one was a little more mellow. Nice well-balanced beer. stevoj	4.1 Heathen Epitaph - Bourbon Barrel 16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, foamy beige head settles to ring, lacing. Roasty malt aroma, bourbon, licorice, brown sugar. A little coffee in the aroma in with a good mix of piney and citrus pith hop character. The Coffee is subtle in the flavors as well and is a interesting compliment to the mix. IndianaRed	3.4 Heathen When in Stout, Add Peanut Butter On Tap at the Vancouver brewery/taproom Black pour. WHat littel head or lacing there was, quickly dissipated. Plenty of the advertised PB in the aroma. Along with some gentle dark roastiness. Similar flavors, nice balance between the Peanut and the roast. Some notes of chocolate in there help with the medley. A little late bitterness. Pretty good example of the PB Stout. The big ABV I think helps it in this. Sunday, August 6, 2023
