Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Clear brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts bring equally tangy dark chocolate. Some roast malt bitterness. Hops just bring a little bitterness on the finish. Itís fine, if not the most exciting of CDAs.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. To piwo ma naprawde spore podobienstwo do wedzonki z Bamberga. Zapach czarnej herbaty, lekkie nuty wedzone. W smaku dosc sporo karmelu i wedzonki, typowej dla Rauchbier. Piana niewielka jasna herbaciana barwa, piwo klarowne. Delikatne i nisko alkoholowe ale mimo delikatnosci i pijalnosci tego piwa mamy sporo wedzonego smaku. No i buntownicza etykieta. Niech zyje Craft.

Cask the 24th Egham Beer Festival. A golden amber pour with a loose white head; barley sugar aroma with some muted tropical fruit; syrupy in the mouth, with a 1980ís tinned fruit cocktail taste; then a smooth, oily, dry and slightly medicinal finish. A solid IPA, but I expected something fresher.

Has a good hop aroma with some softness, not too sharp. Okay bleach white head and foggy orange peach body. Flavour is peach notes, some orange and apricot. Hoppy to be sure. Weak on the mouth. A little sharp oiliness would go a long way to improving this one. Not bad, but needs some more effort.

Tasted this at the GRAF in the Briggait, Glasgow on the 24th June 2016. Cask, gravity dispense. Pours an opaque amber in colour with a thin white loose head. Strong powerful juicy tropical fruits much in evidence in the hoppy aroma, long on the nose. Thin resinous mouthfeel and no lacing noted. Pale malts deliver a thin biscuit base which is overwhelmed by juicy sweetness of the tropical fruit notes of honeydew melon, mango, pineapple, papaya oozing from the hop resins encroaching from a booming hoppy aftertaste. Hop resins still in play at the finish with sweet citrus fruit chewy in the mouth. Cracking IPA and highly recommended.

Bottle. Golden hazy. Ateong citrus grapefruity nose, some greens there too, some sweeter caramel marmelade. Light bodied, pale malty, bitter, but not overly over, kinda drinkable refreshing. Having flashbacks from some brewdog low abv ipa here all the time. Which is probably a sign that it is good, but not exceptional. Which pretty much sums it up. Loads of hoppy citrus fruityness, on a rathee pale crackling malty base.
