GTAEgeek	3.2 Echo Balefire Irish Red Sample on tap at Brix. Pours a clear bronze color, with a small, biege ring. The nose is pumpernickel, rye, and black pepper, with a little bit of resinous hops. Sweet and malty, with a light bitterness. Light body, with a flat, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a pretty fair Irish red. Monday, July 31, 2017

Pours a medium thick, well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a hazy, amber (SRM 8) body......nose is pine, resin, mild sweet malts, balance to the hops.....taste is mildly sweet to start with light floral notes, pine, resin tones finishing with a long lingering hop bitterness, balance to the hops......mouth feel, medium light body, minimal alcohol, mild carbonation. This is a quite simple IPA with minimal malt contribution, simple hop dominance, and could pass for an APA. Pours a thick, well retained, tiny bubbled, light beige head, with minimal lacing, over a clear, dark brown (SRM 30) body........nose is roasted malts with chocolate, lighter coffee, pine, resin, grapefruit from the hops, balanced......taste is mild hints of sweetness with light dried fruit tones and molasses, light chocolate, coffee, all from the malts, hops contribute light pine, resin, mild grapefruit tones and relatively light finishing bitterness, balanced between malts and hops.....mouth feel, medium body, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low. This is a well balanced, and relatively mild representative of the style. It is quite easy to drink and compared to many others the hops were almost too gently used, with the gentle bitterness. hayduke	3.7 Echo Munich Helles Sampled at GABF 2015. In the tasting glass was yellow gold with white foam. Nose of caramel malts with grassy and floral hops. The body is medium and the mouth feel is super smooth. The flavor is grainy and the hops are just right with some citrus. Finish is lightly bitter and very crisp like a Kolsch. Flavor is rich caramel malts and lot of floral and grassy hops and a dry bitter finish. Great easy drinking beer. I love finding beers like this at GABF. Would drink a pint of this in a heartbeat. Ernest	2.2 Echo Mirror Image IPA Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly/fully diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, malt syrup), lightly to moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit, apricot), with a note of diacetyl. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly alcoholic. A pretty sad rendition...overly sweet and syrupy, and kinda rough/raw malt, as if fermentation pooped out too soon. Some butter as well. Not even a good appearance (can’t conjure a decent head no matter how violently I pour). A completely unlikeable drain pour, I’m afraid. Monday, April 6, 2015

brokephibroke	3.8 Echo Mushroom Stout Stout brewed with local shiitake and cinnamon cap mushrooms. I can only assume these are from Hazel Dell in Ft, Collins. I spoke with the owner up there and he did mention a local bought some for a beer. I really enjoy this stout. The mushrooms add a level of Unami and smoothness.
