jgb9348	2.5 Midnight Watermelon Lime Fairly crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of bread, light grainy malts, some subdued brine and salt notes with a super small lime scent and nothing of watermelon at all. Light-bodied; Strong malty and grainy flavours dominate with not much else aside from some moderate fruit notes from the limes with no sweetness at all or any tartness really, just the malts come through without any bitterness, either. Aftertaste makes this taste way more of an ale than a lager here, with a crisp bite of malts and no real fruits, no sugars and no pungency at all. Overall, a pretty poor beer overall, even for the warm days of summer, this isn't really worth drinking or especially trying to find, given how many better beers there are for the summertime to quench your thirst. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Alexandria, Virginia on 16-December-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack) sampled on the streets of Savannah, Georgia on 29-December-2021 with my family. Galaxy is a dual-acting hops. The aroma side had peaches and citrus. The taste side had mostly citrus and tropical fruit. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. Aroma of blood orange, tangerine and pineapple. Taste of blood orange, creamsicle, lemon and tart lime. Medium body and medium/high carbonation. An ok caramel & light chocolate/nutty flavor. A little bit overcarbonated though which reflects in the feel and flavor a bit. Medium brown appearance with an airy carbonated head. Foxbush	2.7 Midnight Watermelon Lime 12 oz bottle from Kroger in Short Pump, VA The beer poured translucent gold color with a very small head that quickly dissipated. Watermelon is detected with the aroma and only hints of lime. Very fruity flavor like the whole watermelon. The lime impacts the aftertaste more than the watermelon.
