Vault Sweet Potato Ale
Can. Completely clouded cranberry-orange hue with a dense, creamy sand-colored head. Flavor is what it purports to be--sweet potato (mashed and slightly caramelized) with a cinnamony piquancy and a mild, earthy bitterness. Captures the vegetable well, though itís not a flavor I think I need in a beer more than once a year.

Vault Russian Imperial Stout - Wheat Whiskey
Bottle from release day. Poured a thin body dark blackish brown with a very small tight bubbly beige head. Aroma is a touch hot, sweet whiskey notes, syrup, dark toast and chocolate. Flavor is the same. Body is thinner for an Impy, noticeable heat throughout and average carbonation. Too thin and a touch hot.

Pours thick unclear dark chestnut brown with almost no head. The aroma brings apple brandy barrels and boozy brown sugar. The flavor brings cherry malty apple brandy that thinned out the body as this barrel usually does.

Vault Oatmeal Stout
On nitro at brew pub. Served in high stemmed glass. Thick head, some lacing. Head is very light tan in color. Beer is almoat black. Aroma is weak, maybe dampened by thick nitro head. Some light roasted malts. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light notes of chocolate, and roasted malts. Medium bodied beer with soft carbonation. Nitro and oatmeal combo really make for a smooth creamy beer. Over all a solid oatmeal stout.
